Having our first home visit from Martha was a revelation. The home visit was stress-free compared to travelling to a vet with two shy and nervous cats, but more importantly Martha is absolutely brilliant. She has a great manner, is calm, and explains things really well. She stayed for 30-45 minutes, compared to the 10 minutes you get at most vets, which meant I had time to ask questions, and understood perfectly what I needed to do to get our kitten better. I have now signed up with Martha as our vet moving forward, as she has provided a service that, for me, nothing else even comes close to.

Martha was an extremely caring and knowledgeable person; I trusted her completely in my home and with my precious cats. She was completely professional and confident while also being utterly personable and kind. Maybe this will sound strange, but our consultation and her visit to my home to provide care to my cats (and support to me) was a truly enjoyable experience. The very best I have been able to hope for with traditional vet services is good care and just a bit of stress; I would never have hoped to enjoy the process! Thank you Martha! We have two indoor cats, one of whom hates to go out and always gets extremely stressed if she has to. Also, she's usually a bit shy around people she hasn't met before. Our cats reaction to Martha was almost as having a friend visiting, they both immediately came to meet her and felt at ease around her. Both the examination and booster shots went extremely smoothly, no stress at all, and to be honest, I suspect they didn't even realised what had happened, that's how great Martha's visit was.

Paw Squad provide a great service! The app is very easy to use and you can get an appointment very quickly. Martha couldn't have been nicer or more professional. She was really caring and took the time to put my cats at ease, allowing them to come to her when they felt comfortable instead of manhandling them when they were uncertain. Her visit wasn't rushed in the slightest. I'd highly recommend Martha and will definitely be using her again!

The reduction in stress levels (both mine and my cat Shorty's) of having Martha come to the house is wonderful. Shorty was so much more relaxed, even greeting Martha when she came in. Shorty has an ongoing condition, so needs regular vet checks - which had become traumatic. Martha was lovely and sweet with her and Shorty was purring within a few minutes of getting her shots. Definitely recommend!

My cat, Joe, had always been anxious when travelling to and being in the Vet's Surgery, but Martha's visit was a revelation. She sat with Joe and comforted him before she examined him. She was soothing and unhurried and Joe was relaxed throughout the examination. Martha is the Vet whom you always wanted to take care of your pet, but didn't think you'd ever meet.

I can't recommend this service highly enough. My cat gets extremely stressed when going to the vet so this service was perfect for her. Martha was fantastic with Luna, taking the time to get to know her and putting her at ease before she commenced her check-up and diagnosing her ear infection and giving us ear drops there and then. Martha's manner was friendly and very professional. I would definitely book Martha again, saving Luna and I the stress of a visit to the vets.

Having to say goodbye to our elderly cat was so hard, but Martha was just brilliant. What a lovely person and an excellent vet. Saying goodbye at home was so much less stressful for us and, more importantly, for our cat, who hated going to the vet. I would say to anyone in this heartbreaking position to use PawSquad. I was so happy to find a vet that did home visits as getting my cat Shelley into the carrier and to the vet is so stressful for her. Martha was so lovely and Shelley took to her straight away even though she is nervous of strangers. She was so patient and gentle with my cat and Shelley didn't even flinch when given an injection. What a lovely lady! The minute Martha arrived we both felt at ease. Our dog is fairly elderly and gets very distressed at the vets hence the reason for looking for a mobile vet. We found an Independent mobile vet before, but she didn't leave us feeling very confident. It was so refreshing when Martha walked through our door, full of smiles and oozing confidence , yet so sympathetic to our dog and to the fact that it was HER home. Martha was so pro-active with Zara and completely understood when Zara got stressed when she tried to clip her claws, and sensibly backed off realising that the stress was more detrimental to Zara's health than her claws were. Martha was excellent, she gave 'little black cat' a full MOT, he's a wee old cat and she was so gentle he never batted an eye lid, even with his injection. Martha clearly loves animals and was so helpful with the million and 1 questions I asked. I would highly recommend Martha and home visits.

We just had our first visit from Martha at @paw.squad to have a look at our dog's ear hematoma. He is a really anxious guy and used to be human reactive, so vet visits can be really stressful for him, no matter how much handling we practice at home. Last time he had to be restrained by three people (and obviously muzzled) for a basic procedure, and was super stressed out for several days afterwards. So happy to have found a good alternative. Martha is really calm, sweet, and patient to give the animal the best possible experience. I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to reduce their dog's stress load. They were best pals by the end of it, sore ears and all.

Martha came to my house to see my 21 year old cat. Unfortunately it was that time. Martha was amazing, so gentle so compassionate and also took the time to talk me through every step easing my own discomfort. I would recommend pawsquad to everyone who has the means to see a private vet (not that she mentioned payment) and when my mum offered she insisted they could wait and that we weren't to worry about that at that time. My cat who I'd had 17 years passed gently with her head in my hand lying on her favourite cat pillow. Martha then helped me with the next step and 2 days later I had my baby's Ashes returned to me in a beautiful black wooden sleeping cat urn with a small care package from the icare pet crematorium. Amazing that this service now exists and would recommend it 100%. Martha is great, I can't say any more. Thank you

My cat gets terrified at vets so getting a mobile vet was a good move. Martha is really good with cats and had Ninja trusting her very quickly, and knew how to deal with it when Ninja started getting suspicious. She managed to get some jabs in and do a full examination, which hasn't been possible at vet offices. I'd recommend Pawsquad to any cats who don't like going out to the vet.

Mhairi has visited to care for both our cats now and she is excellent. Our cats, one of whom doesn't gel very well with visitors, both went to her with no problem. Mhairi has a very gentle, hands off approach to their care so they are not stressed at all. It makes such a difference that they are seen in their own home without the stress of transporting them to the vet. One of our old girls would hyperventilate and get herself so stressed going to the vet that we had put off taking her for anything but emergencies, but we don't have that worry any more. We would highly recommend Mhairi!

I would just like to thank Martha and Mhairi for their support through a very difficult time for my family. Sadly our dog, Sandy had to be put to sleep yesterday. Martha was so supportive to our family and so good with Sandy. I have never known vets to be so caring and lovely. Martha was amazing when she visited my wee girly and handsome wee boy. Martha was extremely patient and gave me lots of advice after diognosing conjunctivitis and prescribing eye drops there and then. Mhairi has been to see my cat Maisie 3 times now and it has been excellent. My cats were rescued from a house with 60 cats in it and are happy animals, but do not like physical contact with humans! This was Mhairi's second visit to Storm and once again she was brilliant. Although Storm likes getting in the car, he doesn't like the destination (ie The Vet) and was always uncomfortable and a bag of nerves visiting the surgery. Having Mhairi visit at home puts him at ease and he is visibly more relaxed and therefore easier to handle. Mhairi's knowledge of the GSD breed have allowed her to diagnose Storm's problems easily and come up with solutions that work. In the nicest possible way, I hope we don't see Mhairi again, but if and when Storm needs treatment, she will be the one we call! Many thanks Mhairi
