Dan arrived with his assistant Wendy on time cheery and so friendly, for Bomber our miniature Shetlands Castration, The whole procedure was very calm and organised, Thankfully a nice dry day where everything was done outside in the paddock. Bomber was relaxed and this made a huge difference to us to see how Dan did not rush anything. Bomber also pulled at their hearts being a model pupil, Everything was explained in great detail. While the castration was taking place and the after care also was explained in full what to expect and any possible problems, Which thankfully did not occur and Bomber has recovered so quickly and holds no grudges😎 Bomber would just like to say “Thanks Dan losing my boys bits was nowhere near as bad as I had imagined and look forward to seeing you soon” The Reid family.

Very pleased with my latest appointment with vet which arrived to vaccinate my yearling Highland pony. She called me half an hour earlier to let me know that she’s on her way (at the time it was agreed when booking the visit). Visit went smoothly. She was very friendly and chatty. Would be happy to have my next appointment with her as well.

Earlier this year we were told nothing could be done for our 6yr old donkey and were advised to put him to sleep. Heart broken and desperate I confided in a friend who recommended Kessock Equine Vets. They visited, examined him and recommended him suitable for surgery. He had his op 2 weeks later and 2 months on is fully healed and running about the field with his friends. We will have to monitor his health for any future reoccurrence but right now he is happy, healthy and alive. From where we were a few months ago when feeling devastated and wishing for a miracle, we now have hope and all our wishes have been granted. The expertise and care provided by this veterinary practice has given us longer with our boy and hope for his future. For that we are eternally grateful and cannot recommended this practice highly enough.

From ensuring we don’t miss vaccinations or dental checks, to kissing spine surgery and lameness work ups, and emergency call outs for hives and choke, Kessock Equine have been excellent. Friendly vets and support staff are kind and reassuring, helpful, professional and never rushed, even at midnight! Highly recommend.

Although it wasn't an emergency call out, I was worried about the injury to my horse and concerned by the wound bleeding continuously. The vet was concise with her questions over the phone, gave clear advice and confirmed that she would visit. When she arrived, she examined the horse calmly and explained the treatment options fully, giving me a chance to decide how to proceed. Her approach was professional, confident and left me reassured and able to treat the wound myself, adding that I could ring her if I was at all concerned about anything. An excellent service and one that I am lucky to have available to me and my horses.

My horse received first class service for his gelding operation, the process was straight forward and costs were as expected no hidden extras, I felt that Banksy’s care mattered and he was well attended to throughout. Would definitely return for any further treatments.

The vets seemed interest in my horse's problems and because they had a lameness diagnostic machine didn't just say arthritis as had been suggested by another vet who I had been with for forty years and it turned out not to be. Kessock Vets investigated the problem thoroughly and above all seemed to care.

Friendly and helpful on phone, regardless how unimportant the request. The vet arrived on time with requested products and equipment. She was attentive and interested and remembered the previous consultation. She also checked back through her records to see what had happened at the consultation immediately prior, which had been carried out by a colleague. A swift and efficient service, and she was nice to my horse!

Zone visits for routine jabs & dental is great, as is the option to join Healthy Horse club.
