Everything was great. The vet was very confident and explained everything she was doing and also made sure I knew how to give my kitten the best care at home. Everything was spotlessly clean and the reception staff were friendly. Callisto is in good hands.

Always been superb and this week our wee dog Hamish had a wee op and I cannot speak highly enough of the team in VfP Pollokshaws. Huge support, information, care, attention for us as well as wee H! Just outstanding and could ask for no more. How many places would call you twice in the following days just to check in, outstanding. Brilliant people Ans huge thank you.

My cat Bella had just been in for her spay and i had her pre-op appointment and post-op appointment with Emma. She was absolutely lovely and clearly has a real passion for animals. She made me feel completely at ease and that she really cared about Bella and seemed to have built a little relationship with her, while she was under her care. Bella isn't always the best at the vet, but she seemed to love Emma too! The receptionist (I didnt catch her name, sorry!) was also very friendly and fussed over Bella, who was clearly feeling very sorry for herself with the cone of shame. This is the first proper experience we’ve had with the practice since transferring from another vets 4 pets, and they have been absolutely tremendous, i trust them completely with my cats

It was the first time we had visited vets for pets. We have just moved home and had to register with a vet and our pet Flint was unwell. The staff were kind, considerate, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Totally put myself and my pet at ease.

The admin team are excellent at making sure all the different wee foibles of my pet's care are attended to. Murphy has needed a little bit extra work as we have had to coordinate with an outside consultant for behavioural issues and the admin team have managed the flow of prescriptions very well. Their communication is great.

I phoned Vets4Pets Pollokshaws for advice/urgent appointment for my cat who was not registered with them(due to recently moving). Despite this they seen me the same day with no issues, the vet took a full history and treated my cat so well and promptly. I was very satisfied with the service and they very much put my mind at ease.

The groomers were very helpful and friendly. She interrupted a full grooming job she was doing, to quickly trim my dogs eyes. Handled my upset, unsure pet very kindly and professionally. The dog she was co grooming with her assistant, was very relaxed and appeared to be enjoying her treatment too. I will definitely use them again

We received an emergency appointment quickly, and our dog was treated with an injection within an hour of calling. Everyone was attentive and supportive and the vet explained everything clearly to us.

Our dog Millie loves coming to the vets, everyone is so friendly and kind to her. The staff are so caring and clearly love all animals, they're very good at treating efficiently and giving advice when needed for after care. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

The policy of the company according to its manager is 15 minutes per visit and the price is cheaper than it can cost me a visit to a private doctor for me. This was the telephone answer they gave me when in the survey I said that 45 pounds seemed expensive for telling me that my cat had nothing and selling me a cream for cat balls, without asking me if I wanted to buy it. I also claimed that they did not give me a detailed invoice when I asked to know what I was paying and that the consumer service was not enough to address my concern at that time since I did not understand the reason for 45 pounds for the 10-minute consultation, telling me that My cat did not have anything and to give me a cream that my cat does not need and that I did not ask for. The worst thing for me is that I was looking for a veterinary centre for my cat's history and they told me that in 15 minutes they cannot attend the visit and record the history of my cat that comes from SPCA. So it is clear that in this centre there is no possibility of personalized customer service to spend time in the correct history of my cat, there is no remorse 15 pound for a tube of cream sold without asking if I want it.

We love this office! They are knowledgeable and friendly and always give our dog fantastic care. He actually enjoys coming for a visit because he loves the staff so much. All the vets here are fantastic.

My 10 month old cat was really ill. Went to see Michelle (the vet). She was great with him. He needed blood tests and possibly an X-ray. The blood test went ahead but she didn’t feel the X-ray was necessary. What I’m trying to say (after the big story) is.....she’s a great vet and best of all she doesn’t do any unnecessary test !! In this day and age it’s great to find a vet that puts the pets first.

ive been using pets4vets newton mearns for almost 3 years now and never had any problems. the staff are always extremely friendly and the customer support is fantastic. i regularly receive texts or letters to remind me when my dogs needing treatments or vaccinations. prices are reasonable too.

Sebastian had a dew claw removal and I was able to get an appointment for the next again morning. Sebastian is rather nervous especially as I had to leave him due to Covid19 however, after trying to put a muzzle on him with no success - I was advised that he could still be treated with sedation. Sebastian was in and out within the hour. I left with a sleepy pup and got all his flea and worming treatments when leaving which was great to save me getting them another time. It's a difficult time and it's obvious Vets4Pets have our animals interests at heart with their care and communication during what I can believe is a very stressful and difficult time. Thank you!

We booked a Best Start in Life pack for our new puppy on 04/12/18 at Newton Mearns V4P and they organised all his injections, gave us advice on basic training and took down our details for puppy classes starting soon. We have always received excellent service here for all our pets over the years.

Sometimes when you call them with a question they promise to get back to you later that day, but never do, than you feel disorientated and thinking should I wait longer, should I call back. And than you wait hesitant for days. It happened twice already to me.

Firstly I'd like to make a point of saying my whole experience with V4P has been really exceptional. I have been into this practice several times over the past year for Renon's heart murmur and I have been met with nothing but kindness, professional but friendly chat and the assurance that Renton has been in the best care. The vet, the vetinary nurse and the Secretary were all absolutely wonderful and the standard service of text messaging and keeping regular updates throughout the day whilst rents was in has been outstanding. I have been to a few vets before this one and none have come close to the service I have received here. I would (and have been) recommending this practice to anyone with an animal. Thank you!

Can't thank Vets4Pets enough for the wonderful treatment and care they have given to my best mate, my cat Murray. Sadly, Murray had an ulcer in his eye, and despite Lindsay and Hiram's best attempts to treat it, last week Murray had to have his eye removed. The poor lad must have been in a lot of pain (but being a cat, he did a sterling job of hiding it!) and I felt terribly guilty for not realising sooner how serious it was, but everyone at Vets4Pets made me feel reassured that it wasn't my fault, and that Murray would get the very best treatment. And they must have made Murray feel at ease, too - it says a lot about the vets' practice when a cat happily climbs into his carry-box to be taken for a consultation, and Murray does it every time - so he obviously doesn't associate travelling to Mearns in his box with anything unpleasant! He had his final follow-up appointment today, and everyone at Vets4Pets was delighted with how well he's looking - and Murray thoroughly enjoyed being fussed over again. His surgery wound is healing nicely, and he's already back to the cheeky chappy we've always known - and now he's even cooler, because he looks like a pirate! 😁 And on another note - obviously we went ahead with the surgery following the unsuccessful attempts to treat the ulcer, and the money didn't matter to us at that point - but afterwards, when we did a quick search on the internet for the approximate price for an enucleation, we were pleased to see that Vets4Pets' price was actually a little bit BELOW the average in the UK. So their great service comes with the added reassurance that you're not paying over the odds for treatment. Absolutely delighted, and 100% would recommend. Thank you, Newton Mearns Vets4Pets. ♥️
