Always a welcoming place. Staff are friendly, polite and go above and beyond for all of their animal patients. From diagnosis, treatment and every scenario its all explained in detail and easy to understand.

Short visit has they had no electricity, had to make another appointment. Shame over 24 hrs not able to do their job luckly I was able to talk to the vet but my pet could not have her injections because they had to send medicine to a vets that had access to fridges to keep medicine's save

Always use this vets for my Siberian huskie Nikita, claws clipped. Lovely vet great location to me, wasn't waiting long a few minutes.

the poor little family hamster was very poorly, Mr loddo was absolutely wonderful, explaind how poorly she was to my daughter, unfortunately we didn't bring scarlet home but we couldn't have asked for any better care

Great vet and receptionists, had to get my dog put to sleep and he gave us 10 mins in the room with him then the lady came in and helped me wrap my fur baby up and bring him home, I have now got a lovely grave were he is in my garden. 1 off the best vets I have been to as so caring and understanding and will give u advise anytime. well worth the 5 stars xx

Best vets you could ask for. My family have been taking our pets here for almost 20 years so when the time came for me to have my own I knew this was the place for us. Very personal, professional and caring service. Couldn't ask for a better veterinary practise.

Very good practice taken all of our dogs here sadly they have all passed away now but the staff are amazing the are very patient and understanding whilst also having empathy for every owner and their furbabies. A truly outstanding veterinary practice which if we ever get anymore dogs we will be coming back to.

I've know about the vets for a few years through an old friend, and today when a friend contacted me to say 'I need a vet' I thought of Chestnut House straight away and was booked with a same-day appointment swiftly. Used the large multi veterinary outfit, 'K' veterinary surgeons. They wanted to charge £235.00 for my Jack Russell to be spayed and another £90.00, plus medicine costs, to have a small wart removed from her head. I was happy to pay that, just assumed that was the going rate until a veterinary friend up north told me the cost was excessive. I contacted Chestnut house veterinary and booked her in for the procedure. The total cost with Chestnut was £166.00, less than half the cost at the chain. Mr. Loddo is lovely as are his staff. I would recommend ANYONE to use this surgery in a heartbeat. She also needed her anal glands to be cleared 2 weeks later. 40% cheaper, but the point is, he did them in under a minute in 1 go. The last lot took 3 to 4 minutes in 2 goes, causing more stress to my little dog. Cant help wondering if 'K' surgery took more time to justify their charge. Then again, I am a suspicious, cynical old bas...d!

I have been taking my dogs to Dr Loddo Chestnut House vets for many years and i am completely happy with the service given by all staff professional, friendly, caring and above all very competent. I once tried another vets due to been closer to home but they could not live up to chestnut house's standards so i promptly booked my fur babies back in with chestnut were i get a first class service. I would not take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you.

I first went to Mr Loddo many years ago with my Collie. She had small growths between her toes. Appeared one year disappeared over winter, came back over summer. Told by several ...3/4 ...vets around hull area, it was due to running in stubble after corn had been cut. I thought a load of twaddle. I was told about Mr Loddo. Within seconds of seeing her, Mr. Loddo said it was a virus. I d been washing her feet in Salt water. He said drugs would do no better. He didn't t charge me. Needless to say I never went anywhere else. He s absolutely fabulous and caring...as were the other vets he had working for him over the years. If u didn't t understand the last bit... Great Vet.

We have had all three of our dogs looked after by Chestnut House. The first two were cavaliers and lived to be twelve and half, both dogs. Our new dog a Lhasa Apso is under there care. Always had a first class service.
