Lovely group! My dog’s paw was injured on a busy Saturday and needed her paws looked at urgently. Every vet in the area was completely booked and said come back Monday but Best Friends Group, understanding the gravity of the situation, squeezed us in inbetween other appointments which we really appreciated. We got her seen right away, and despite being squeezed in, the vet really took the time to analyse the problem and suggest the appropriate medications with explanations for each. She also did a mini operation on the spot to remove what was in her paw! The only thing I think they can improve is to provide itemised invoices with receipts so customers understand the breakdown of their bill.

Amazing and lovely Staff! I am very protective of my baby and sometimes I can be difficult but all the girls are very patient and understanding. Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment as soon as possible but they only have 1 vet so it is understandable, but that is just me using common sense. Keep up the good work!

We went to the wrong address initially after misunderstanding that our old vet had been taken over by Best Friends. The practice staff waited for us to arrive 20mins late for last appointment. The receptionist apologised for her misunderstanding although the mistake was entirely mine! The vet, Felicia, was incredibly thorough and took a lot of time to make sure my very nervous pet was comfortable and conducted a very thorough examination explaining everything that she saw. She's simply the best bet I've encountered. Overall, very professional, competence and caring team. The only disappointing feature is that the firm need to attend to the broken ventilation in the treatment room urgently to protect their excellent staff.

My dog recently had surgery here. From the very beginning the team have been nothing short or amazing. From the initial consultation, the surgery and all of the follow up appointments it has been so professional and caring. All of the staff are great, so friendly to us and our dog Tank. Tank actually likes going to the vet now! Dragos was brilliant and we are so grateful to him for everything he, Georgina and Hanny did for us. I would highly recommend this practice. Best Friends Vet Group looked after my kitten Eggs through his kitten MOT, and were so kind and professional every time! Sad to have moved away, but I felt very comfortable to leave my kitten there for treatment. Hanna made a special effort to send me his meds I hadn't collected in a while to my new address free of charge – highly recommended!

*Edited as service improved greatly : Dragos the vet and most staff are really nice and care for the animals. It is usually quick to get an appointment. The vet gives you good explanations to help decide the next steps. Only downside is that consults are spaced 10min apart so they are very busy and can have some delays in attending you or calling back. Some products are extremely expensive (36£ against 6 in drugstore). Covid safety measure : you will wait outside whilst they take the animal in. The vet or nurse will come tall to you outside.

I can’t recommend Dragos and the team enough. My puppy Lolly has had a few trips to the vets recently and she always wags her tail the whole time she is there! As new puppy parents they have been so welcoming and reassuring, outstanding service and such a great team 🐾

I have been taking my cat to this vet practice for many years. The vet has always been knowledgeable, patient, gentle and forthright when necessary. As someone with an older pet, I appreciate that very much toward keeping my pet happy and healthy for the years to come. They also offer a variety of excellent pet insurance plans in house to make the cost of pet healthcare just a bit easier. The receptionists are always very helpful and good-natured. Highly recommend this practice!

I have been in many places but I have to recognise that this vet is the best professional I have ever been. I always ask if Dragos (the vet) is in because I don't want any other vet to take care of my dog. Recently we had to have our 15 year old dog Gerrard put to sleep. This was a very traumatic decision for us made more manageable by the complete professionalism and personal care from Dragos. We knew this time would come and was dreading having to make this decision but Dragos treated Gerrard like he was his own dog, with so much love and compassion shown towards him. Dr DRAGOS was so loving and caring to my pet cat and was so chilled out and answered all my queries patiently/professionally and shared with me his love for cats since his childhood, he instilled confidence in me as I am a new kitten owner. Awesome Vet Shop would highly recommend. Thanks guys! Really worth it for a package of £67.99 it included registration, 2 jabs, a tablet for worms and microchipping. Happy customer😁😀

Dragos is a legend. He saved my 14 year old Vizslas life. He acted with speed and great care in a systematic data driven way over the course of last week to bring our old boy back from the brink. It’s a small, very humble looking surgery but don’t let this fool you. The team are committed, very caring and truly excellent at their work. Highly recommend.
