I rang the vets for advice after finding that due to her small size I could not get regular flea treatment for her. The receptionist was great checking they had something suitable and offered an appointment next day for a new kitten check. I took my kitten for the health check and found the vet helpful and informative willing to answer my questions. Quick treatment and vaccination and in no time we were free to leave.

It's been a year now since I arrived in London, and I was quite afraid to give my babies to new vets in this new country ^^ I'm so glad I've found this practice, especially that sometimes I feel more comfortable writing emails than calling because I'm not always sure I know the good words to describe my cats' problems or understand all the technical explanations: I always had a nice and fast written answer. My beautiful big cat Hermes (7yo) had to go for his dental last week, he had a big surgery then and now he's doing so well (even if he has the mouth of an old man now ;) )! Everything was perfectly explained from the nice and friendly patient assistants or Dr. Sylvia, and it's clear they love animals (very important point to me, sometimes vets do not seem to care so much and are just here to take your money.) I had good advice too for my over-weight black female Pastel, we're working on it! Thank you to all the team!

Just took my 12 week old Husky puppy for her jabs, also kennel cough jab, worming and flee treatment. A very welcoming place, staff were friendly and helpful, the vet was brilliant, helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them. I also took out a plan with them.

This is the best vet practice in the UK - they are very friendly, professional and so caring of the animals. They are not too pricey and the staff are second to none. We took our new Kitten to the vet for his first check up. They were extremely friendly and the vet we saw - Anna - really took the time to answer all our questions / queries thoroughly and even made recommendations on all things food, health, medicine related that we needed to know. Sylvia is a wonderful vet! Very caring and sensitive with my cat. The surgery is very busy but always tries to be flexible for patients and when taking to other owners they always speak very highly of the practice. Also the reception staff are wonderful!

Goddards vets are great. They take such good care of Milo; Anna is wonderful. I have their monthly pet plan which makes sure he gets all his jabs and whatnot; I think it is excellent value for money. They respond quickly, and have always been very pleasant to deal with.

The vets here did an amazing job with our French Bulldog Gizmo whilst we lived in London. I am sad we will lose them from moving away. We never had to wait for appointments, they were always so professional and helpful. Over the lockdown period we were able to have virtual appointments and any face to face they followed the guidelines and made me feel very safe. Gizmo fractured her elbow in two places and needed surgery at 5 months old. She was so well looked after by the Kennington and Wimbledon surgery. The surgeon Tom was very clear on the risks and after care needed. She is now a year on and you would never know she has a plate and screw in her arm. Our insurance claim was dealt with promptly. I cannot complain about them at all. Great vets. Sad to be leaving them.

Anna is an amazing Vet - I have moved practice for my pet so we can see her again - my experience elsewhere has been terrible. She actually cares about the pets and has and her expertise in general practice for small perts is second to none.

The practice has served me and my cats so well over the years. My previous cat got herself into a number of scraps, overate, developed renal problems, all of which were dealt with quickly and competently. When she suffered a stroke, aged 19, she was eased into a painless death, and Anna and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. I’m sure my present cat, Matilda, will be looked after just as well.

Goddards have always been a brilliant support to me and my cat. She was diagnosed with a heart condition shortly after I rescued her, and Roger Irish and the staff were kind, helpful as well as incredibly professional. My cat is also a total monster at the vet, and they have been extremely kind in not banning her. I've been a happy customer for three years, and were I not moving, I would stay for many more. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Everyone from the receptionist onwards is cheerful, highly capable and a pleasure to speak to.

A dog mom's worst nightmare occurred when my pooch swallowed something whole and started choking. I rushed him to GVG Kennington across the road from where I was at the time and they are most certainly the reason he's still here today! Sylvia was on duty, acted super fast and put him to sleep very quickly to prevent suffocation. She went as far as to transport him personally to a different vet for further treatment he needed after numerous phone calls she had to make. They were absolutely amazing, I am so glad to have had them near. Handled this emergency like absolute pro's.

When our cat was recently unwell he had an emergency appointment and admission to Stone Lion hospital in Wimbledon and cannot fault their care and service. We arrived out of hours and were seen immediately. We were constantly kept informed of his progress by the vet, including a daily text to update on how he'd been overnight. The speed of investigations and treatment, and the openness of clinical discussions and options should be the envy of the NHS. Louise (the resident vet) was fantastic throughout and after his admission. He was promptly referred to the RVC for specialist care. His ongoing treatment, provided by Goddard's (Kennington), has continued the highest standard of care and service - they have always accommodated him for an emergency review when again he became unwell, and they kept us informed of his results and progress along the way. We always felt part of the decision making process. Anna (lead vet in Kennington) is fantastic - truly caring and compassionate, and reassuring as a 'patient' to be in the hands of. The nurses at both centres are great - knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. We are very happy to have Goddard's as our local vets and to recommend it to others.

Pretty helpful but also pricey... £80 for appointment and some cream treatment. Suppose all vets are pricey though. Friendly to the pup despite initial barking, felt like they genuinally cared about the pup and not just going though the motions with no feeling. Glad to have got a same day appoinment too, I'll use them again if I need a vet pronto.
