A fantastic vet in central London. Appointments are always easy to book and the vets are really knowledgeable. They give you different options and I think are quite practical in the guidance for what is best for you and your pet. All the staff is friendly and my dog is actually excited to visit. We recently had quite a big medical issue with our large dog and I really appreciate the care and information the vets here gave us. Would recommend.

From the moment I called to register, everyone who answered the phone was professional, helpful and friendly. I've heard nothing but great things about Clerkenwell medivet. I have family members that use you and I have done so on 2 occasions now, once at Kensington and once Clerkenwell, both occasions I've not had one disappointment. Clerkenwell medivet were very thoughtful and caring to my concerns about my cat. Dealt with everything in a caring manner, keeping me informed and giving me the choice on how to go forward with my cat rather than just telling me what they will do.

Our cat was showing signs of discomfort, for no apparent reason. Since we moved to the area recently, we didn't have a vet in place so we called the nearest: Clerkenwell Animal Hospital. They managed to fit us in the same day (Sunday!) and we booked her in for the next day. They also arranged for our cat's medical records to be transferred from the previous vet. It was a really nice vet office, with lots of different food and toys - which shows how much they care. They also provided nutrition advice because our cat needs to lose a few grams around her belly. The dental procedure the cat had went smooth, and they notified us on how she did and what they found. Lots of attention and care of animals is very evident in this vet and it has a nice feel. Parking is a tad tricky, but just ask reception and they will give you the solution. Sometimes the security people (nothing to do with the vet) are a bit funny, but they will let you in through the first barrier when you push the call button and announce you are there for the vet. Overall, my cat is doing so much better, and she's back to her happy self.

My cat injured his leg a week ago and we were told to wait almost 3 weeks in order to get an xray from our local vet. We then decided to come here and I've never met such a helpful and kind practise. The receptionist greeted as quickly and efficiently, the vet saw us on time and gave our cat the xray straight away. She made a great effort to make sure we can take him back home with us the same day rather than wait overnight. I called again today for further steps and again had a lovely receptionist over the phone. Would highly recommend, thank you for taking care of my cat, very grateful for this service and practise.

What can I say about this perfect Vet practice, from the reception staff to the consultant we were treated with such understanding and thoughtfulness. Our dog was diagnosed quicker than any human would be at hospital and the next day we were seen by a consultant. Mark is an amazing human being who honestly cares deeply about the animals and we feel honoured that our dog was seen by him. All the staff on my other visits have been just as amazing. If you go to this practice once you will never go to another Vet ever they are the best and the animals in this area are very lucky.

Our cat has received excellent care from the staff at Clerkenwell. They are always available by phone to consult, even in the middle of the night when we had an emergency. The doctors are caring and knowledgeable and the nurses and assistants are incredibly helpful. I especially appreciate that they always ring to check on how our cat is doing after he's had a treatment. It's very easy to get an appointment and prices for usual procedures are reasonable. Prices are high for more invasive procedures, but that is not unique to this practice. We have always felt confident in the care we receive at Clerkenwell and would definitely recommend it!

Our dog Teddy has a seizure and we rushed him over to your Clerkenwell practice. They tried their best to revive him but unfortunately he had already passed. They were very professional, kind and considerate. Would highly recommend them.

One of my cats just turned out with a seriously-looking burst abscess wound. The staff has been very attentive and friendly both with us and with the cat. They facilitated us leaving him there before work and collecting him just after work and they even called to follow up on reactions to the treatment and developments of the healing process. Words cannot even begin to describe the amazing people they have at the Clerkenwell Animal Hospital. I took my Pug there as an emergency and the care she received was outstanding, I would not go anywhere else with my dogs. I had particularly bad experiences with other vets but the anxiety and anguish disappeared when I saw the vet Mark. He was calm, caring and thorough with his investigations into my dogs illness. On top of that, he and his staff made regular phone calls in following up her progress. Couldn't be happier with their service and would highly recommend.

Can not express how great this practice is, I had to rush my cat there in an emergency when my local Vet's out of hours service was a 45 minute drive away. We came across Clerkenwell Animal Hospital when our kitten was poorly on a Sunday and our previous vets was not open. They were able to fit us in straight away and we haven't looked back. All of the staff are welcoming and obviously love all animals, and I'm sure our kittens now prefer visiting this wonderful animal hospital rather than staying at home. You quickly get to know the staff by name and they couldn't be a nicer bunch. From our first interaction with them it became very clear that they are a proactive and intelligent practice, going far and beyond what is expected. If your pet is kept in over night you will receive regular updates and reassurance that they are in the best of hands. One of our kittens had to stay in over the weekend and they were so welcoming to us, let us come in both days and even gave us a consultancy room just so we could play with him. If you are looking for a new practice then you cannot go wrong with the wonderful team at Clerkenwell. We have seen all three regular vets in Mark, Anna and Ricardo, and they are all as brilliant as each other.

Brilliant animal hospital saved my cat Tino's life on Friday night after a road traffic accident. The vet was so caring and explained everything really clearly to me. His initial consultation and assessment took about an hour and was very thorough looking at every aspect of my cat who was kept in and worked on overnight with extensive treatment and care given. Twice now I have had to rush both my dogs into the Hospital in the middle of the night. The first time, the vet got in a taxi and met me there straight away, she was there before I was, ready to meet me and my very poorly dog. Both times I have felt like my dogs are in very safe hands and I really have felt like the service provided is top rate. Both my dogs have been a bit prone to serious stomach problems and I am so glad the animal hospital is so close and that the speed and quality of the service is so good - I would highly recommend!!!

My dog has been experiencing back and hind limb weakness and I wasn't happy with the treatment our last vet was suggesting so I called the animal hospital for a second opinion. They fitted us in the same day I called and the day after that she had a CT scan which confirmed a quite serious spinal issue and found a few other problems. The treatment has been second to none, they really listen to you and have done everything humanly possible to help my dog.... it's still early days but I have high hopes. All of the staff I've met are lovely, friendly and extremely helpful.... They really care, it's the third vet we've been to and without doubt the BEST!!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone with animals in London.

I can't thank all the staff enough for the treatment they gave to our dog recently when he was admitted for a couple of nights.Every single member of staff we had contact was knowledgable and professional and really cared about our dog. During his stay the staff called us regularly to let us know how he was doing which made us feel reassured and were there 24/7 to answers are calls if we worried. After having previous bad experiences with other vets we won't be taking him anywhere else in future. Highly recommended!

I have brought in my Lhasa Apso for spaying earlier this week and have had the most pleasant experience. I felt my dog was left in safe hands, even though I was fairly nervous before going to the clinic with her. But the nurses were very nice and made me feel at such ease. As soon as the operation was over we got a call saying it all went well and she was recovering very well. When I picked her up later the same day I was greeted by a bouncey dog and knew I had worried for no reason. My dog was given painkillers, free of charge, and a nice soft collar to stop her from licking her stitches. Also free of charge. The following day, the clinic called me to check how she was doing, and the day after I had to bring her in for a post-op check up. Also free of extra charge. The vets were very helpful, answering all my many questions and very sweet to Paula and it was a real pleasure to bring her in again. All in all, even despite such a routine surgery, my dog was given a lot of attention and care. Plus, compared to many other vet practices the prices for treatment at the clinic are quite low (for London standards), very unexpectedly, considering the effort and care that is being put in. I'm highly recommending the clinic, for minor and major treatments and will definitely go back for Paulas vaccinations next year. Thanks to all the lovely nurses and to Marc and Alex for looking after my puppy so very well.

Amazing service from the Clerkenwell Animal Hospital. I'd taken my ex-stray middle-aged cat for the first time to the vet and was saddened to hear she had rotten teeth. I was left cold by my vet staff reception, and seeing that the price was going to be above the roof (teeth removal operation + Hackney location), I decided to go for "luxury care" at the Clerkenwell Animal Hospital I was passing by when going to work. From my first minute in the clinic I was chuffed by the place and staff. Yes, it is a vet clinic, but the name Animal Hospital gives away the true quality of their work. The pets here are as well cared for as it would be for humans in a specialised clinic. From the front-office nurses to the vets and the facilities, there's a genuine love and care for all pets (kudo to the squirrel popping out of the pocket of the first nurse that welcomed us). My cat difficult experiences on the street had left her scared of other animals which The CAH staff took in great consideration (she was left quiet in the dark, no crazy noises, in a big and comfy box). After the operation, They kept her for observation for another day (4 teeth removed is quite a heavy operation) with no charge. Same for the check-ups in the following weeks. Today, Raven's gums are healing nicely, she's finally at peace without the permanent suffering, all cuddly and sweet. I would recommend the Clerkenwell Animal Hospital anytime.

My cat had an empty eye socket after losing his eye, unfortunately it became badly infected. I found the hospital by chance, and I am so glad I did. To cut a long story short my cat now has a skin graft covering the empty socket which has healed beautifully, he is now a new cat. The operation was done by James Creasey, unbelievably gifted, this was supported by an amazing team consisting of Mark, Claire, Lizzy, Martina, Cecilia, Julie, Helen, Ricardo, Ronnie, Holly and Zoe. This is a young, gifted, energised team, and it's refreshing to know your pet is in good hands by such a group. Furthermore, my cat was at the hospital for over three weeks, and every single day, including Sunday - where they are open - I was allowed to visit and chill with him for as long as I wanted. Clerkenwell Animal Hospital is amazing in every department, and if you want to find a vets that has an 'A' Plus Star and a Michelin Star rating of the very highest '3' right next to its name, then this is it! Thank you guys, you're the best.

Our cat Bertie was seriously injured one Friday evening. Fortunately I had kept a flyer with details of the Clerkenwell Animal Hospital. Our phone call was answered by Mark Lindfield, the senior vet, who said he would meet us at the hospital as soon as we could get there. Bertie was immediately examined and we were reassured by Mark's calm efficiency that our cat was in good hands. Mark phoned us immediately after the operation and during Bertie's stay the nurses kept in touch with us morning and night about his progress. We were even allowed to visit! All the staff are charming and very efficient. I would thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice - and not just for emergencies.

My 5 year old Brown Tabby cat, Freddy, was admitted as an emergency late evening a few weeks ago. He had severe urinary problems and was in a lot of pain. He had superb treatment from Mark and his team. It turned out that he had a growth in his bladder - not cancer, thankfully. He is a rescue cat and very timid so the experience was always going to be traumatic for him. The problem was quickly diagnosed, he had surgery and excellent after care. Mark understands that the owner needs to be 'treated' as well as the animal and this was never less than sensitive, good humoured and responsive. Treatment even included a patient lesson for me and one of my sons on how to pill a recalcitrant cat. Strongly recommended.

Mo-Jo - 12 yr old Chihuahua/Jack cross managed to impale herself on a solar light stem early June Sunday morning, rushed her to Clerkenwell Hospital and MARK saved her life - the stem was inside her 9" body for 7" - incredible that she is alive! For sure if it were not for the tender loving care she got from everyone at the surgery she would be dead and to Pet Plan for paying for the surgery and to City of London for cancelling our speeding ticket!
