I booked a consultation with them as the vet my dog was with previously did not respond quick enough nor help me when in need of an Animal Heath Certificate. Poplar Vets were so quick to reply and were very attentive and helpful. The whole experience was great. Everyone very friendly and the Vet was super careful to listen to everything and to guide me through the AHC procedures. Thanks!

Huge fan of Poplar Vets. My cat has been a 'patient' for six years and this vet has always been very accommodating to her skittish needs - even when she (sigh) scratches them. Would definitely recommend for bad tempered moggies.

I have had to avail myself of their services more often than I’d have liked, after adopting an unvaccinated kitten with cat flu. Poplar Vets, and especially Dr. Lucas, were compassionate and helped make my angsty cats comfortable throughout their recovery. One of them had to have an echocardiogram under sedation. They rang me as soon as the procedure was over to discuss the results. I got through a long workday knowing that she was well cared for.

Great vet and staff. I was so nervous to take my little puppy here when I moved areas, as her last vet was really outstanding. However, luck would have it that this practice seems to be just as good. Their staff is professional, gives time to ask questions and was on time. They email receipts and the price on the medicine and goods are very competitive. Happy to be a new a new member!

This is an absolutely amazing vet office. We have been to four others in the area and they were either too costly or just didn't give enough advice and care as was needed. Our cat had a blocked urinary tract and was quite violently ill. I called them first thing in the morning and they fit him in straightaway (I couldn't get an appointment anywhere else). Our vet was kind and thoughtful and really took the time to give all of the medicine and care that our cat needed. She genuinely loves animals and this was evident in her advice and care. The other employees there were very helpful, knowledgeable and they love what they do. The help and assistance with the insurance forms was incredibly useful and helpful. Please do use these guys. They are amazing!

We were with Poplar Vets for 2 years and always found the vets and reception team to be caring and competent. We recently lost our beautiful cat very suddenly at home. We rushed him over but he was already gone when we arrived. In addition to the devastation of losing our beloved companion, due to the pandemic it was a logistical nightmare (as we requested an autopsy due to the suddenness and symptom-less nature of his death). Henrika helped us through the whole process. When an issue arose, she called us after hours to talk to us. It meant a great deal to us. If we ever have another cat, we will bring them back to Poplar Vets.

Excellent hospital for veterinary students to undertake a placement - I am currently seeing practice at Poplar Vets (I am in my 4th year of my studies) and have had a fabulous experience so far. All of the staff are very welcoming, and there is a great team dynamic. The vets are very thorough with their patients and take the time to explain each case step-by-step, which really helps to reinforce the learning process. Definitely recommend!

Started visiting this vet 2 years ago when me and my partner got our first cat, they were so amazing that when my mums dog grew a lump in his nose and the PDSA were limited due to Covid-19 I recommended them to her, today we had to have him put to sleep as the cancer spread and grew within the last week, they were amazing, the vet and receptionist were really understanding and allowed my mum to hold her boy and take the time she needed to say her goodbyes, they were gentle, ensured they got the correct urn for his ashes and the correct service. Probably the best experience my pug had in vets. Poplar Vets extended their opening hours and that's very convenient for us. Left my pet before going to work and took it back after. They fed it and took it outdoors for walks during the stay. Pricing is reasonable too. In a waiting area they offered me a coffee, can you believe, in vets, first time in my life, that was a top class customer service. Will give 5 stars.

Great vets, not crazy expensive either. My old cat was suffering from a urinary tract infection requiring a painkiller and antibiotic injection as well as antibiotic tablets and a urine sample kit. Altogether was £57 so not bad at all. Clean and modern vet practice. Don't get me wrong, staff are very nice but it's so hard to understand their accent! 😰

They saved my cat Moly. Poor animal was suffering, she was vomiting and had diarrhoea once we noticed that we called Poplar Vets. Nurse advised us to come ASAP as we did. Moly required urgent treatment. After a few hour we could go home again. She is fine now!!! Thank you for your professional service!

Taken 8 week old kitten for first vaccination. Baltic Pets offers very good quality bundle for kittens - for £69.50 you would get a lot (health check, 2 courses of vaccinations, microchipping, flea treatment, food package and for extra £3 worm tablet) Place is run by Lithuanians and veterinary consultant checking my little Molly was very professional and calming. Her grammar wasn't super perfect, but who cares - she knew what she was doing and I felt that my cat was handled really well. Now looking forward to my second scheduled visit for second vaccination and microchipping.
