Village Vet is a chain of lovely practices. I use the Hampstead branch which is open 24/7 so perfect for emergencies and regular appointments alike. Wonderful vets, nurses and support staff. Friendly and professional all the way. They have access to the best specialists for complex procedures. I always feel they love my pets as much as I do, which is so important in building a relationship where I feel confident leaving the health of my pets in their hands. I would highly recommend this practice to all pet owners.

Village vet Belsize Park were fantastic and definitely saved my dogs life. She was brought in acutely ill, and very touch and go as to whether she would make it. But their care, and knowledge was impressive and they were amazing at keeping me updated throughout her 10 day stay in their hospital. Thank you Katy, Chloe, Sam and all the team, can’t recommend highly enough.

We had to take our little sausage dog in on Sunday because he had been vomiting non-stop for 24 hours. Everything from the first phone call and super friendly receptionists to then be seen by a vet (no waiting time) we felt like we were in very professional hands. Our dog had to stay over night but we got regular phone calls from the vets on his state and further tests/ treatment which was very reassuring. The whole time I felt that they were very transparent about costs/ billing and consent for each of the steps.

The staff at Village Vet Hampstead are excellent, and the quality of care is always to the highest standard. They really looked after my dog Missy when Dr Jonas performed a really tricky surgery on her knee, and he did an incredible job. I can’t thank them all enough, I know she’s in safe hands when she’s there.

We took our dog Joey to village vet Belsize Park after he got attacked by another dog and ran off for 12 hours overnight. We got there and were greeted by 2 AMAZING nurses who comforted us and were lovely with Joey. We were really upset to find that while Joey was missing he had been hit by a car and was critically injured. Our first vet, Dr Hinnah, was so understanding and acted quickly to get the necessary imaging done. She really reassured us he was in the right place. We were then able to visit Joey again in the evening and met a night vet, Dr Emmanuel Borgstrom, who was knowledgeable and detailed when communicating the facts. He was kind enough to call me (at my request) with updates at 5am before his shift finished which really helped give us peace of mind. Joey’s main vet from this point on was Dr Chloe Zaydner who treated Joey like he was her own dog. The care, expertise and pure love she gave to our little dog is priceless. Every phone call, Chloe was calm, patient and explained v hard hitting complicated medical facts in a clear way and with compassion. Every single step of the way Chloe went above and beyond and we are forever grateful for that. Finally, as it was over the Christmas break we met Sarah because Chloe was off. Sarah picked up seamlessly from Chloe and was so thorough, clear and patient when chatting to us. We knew our Joey was in great hands. We also had the pleasure of chatting to lots of nurses along the way, i didn't catch all of their names sadly, but nurses Georgina Forster, Caroline Loob, Domante Semetait were amazing!
Overall everyone we met at village vet, all the receptionists (especially Joanna), nurses and vets were outstanding in every area. I feel so lucky to have taken our boy there.

Our cat was discharged from Village Vet on Sunday after a 4-night stay due to acute pancreatitis. It was a very nervous time for us, and he wasn’t well at all for a few days, in pain and with a fever. He seems to have made a good recovery.
We are really grateful for the care he received from everyone at Village Vet. He was treated by several vets, and monitored by nurses. Sam was fantastic, and kept in touch with us regularly with updates. Alison was also brilliant. He was cared for by another two vets, and we unfortunately didn’t take their names but they were also brilliant. Thank you to everyone for your care. Hopefully Yarp won’t be back anytime soon, but it’s very reassuring to know such high quality care is available if needed.
We’re also grateful that you advised us to take out pet insurance last year when we first came to see you!

5 star service from clearly knowledgeable and considerate vets. A special thank you to vet Sam who performed a really complex procedure on our cat Olly and did a fantastic job! He kept us informed throughout and we felt comfortable that our cat was in the best hands. Thank you Sam!

I recently had to take the tough decision of saying goodbye to my missy of 15 years, this has been my 1st visit to this branch and I can honestly say the service I received was second to none, Jonathan explained the entire procedure, was professional, empathetic and patient.
It makes all the difference receiving that level of service.
Thank you village vet for making a difficult time that much easier

Wonderful vets. Took the best care of our pet cat when he was recently sick. Excellent communication, very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Many thanks to you all

My doberman puppy fell ill suddenly and seriously with pneumonia and pleural effusion. He was treated with such care and love at Hampstead and after discharge vet Chloe phoned weekly to check on his progress until we were both content he was completely better. Cannot recommend this vets more highly. All started late on a Sunday evening when they were very busy but the triage nurse saw our pup straight away and got his care started. 5 stars all the way.

I came to this practice from Brook Green Village Vet so that my 7 month schnoodle could have a laparoscopic spay as my local surgery does not offer this keyhole procedure. I've been delighted by the service at Village Vet Hampstead. Every interaction with them has been positive, friendly and professional. The nurses were lovely, offering lots of information before and after the procedure and were very gentle with my pup. I also watched how kind they were to the other dogs that they took outside for 'pee' breaks when I was having lunch next door after my appointment. It's always good to observe when people think no-one is watching! The vet Dr Jonas did an outstanding job with the surgery and has a lovely bedside manner with pups and humans alike! My pup clearly agreed as she kept giving him kisses! I felt compelled to describe my experience here for others to offset some of the negative reviews, in my experience the staff and facilities at Village Vet Hampstead have been brilliant and I'd highly recommend them to everyone.

Having used Village Vet for over 25 years I have never had a problem getting an appointment on the same day staff are very kind and attentive. Been to various branches and always had exceptional service

We have an 8 month year old puppy who suffered a kidney failure after surgery. She had to stay with the team at village vet for 9 days while she recovered. Throughout what was an extremely scary and emotional time, the staff did everything they could to keep us informed and reassured, calling us every single day to talk to us about her progress in minute detail, patiently answering all of our questions, but most importantly they took excellent care of our little lady who thankfully made a full recovery. When a pet is unwell, as their owner it is always frightening. You feel out of control and very helpless and it's easy to take out frustration you're feeling about this on the very people who are doing everything they can to make her better. Ok so they didn't call back the minute they said they would. The receptionist is new and so isn't familiar with the case. The wait time at the surgery was long. These things do happen but they are incidental, they don't matter and they are no reason to gripe. The staff at Village Vet are humans too, dealing with poorly animals all day long and especially in this practice as it also serves as an emergency clinic, they often need to drop everything and prioritise the animals who need their immediate attention. The most telling thing about the quality of care our puppy received from the warm and wonderful staff at Village Vet is the fact that despite spending 9 days there hooked up to an IV with daily blood tests, our puppy has come away from it with no fear at all of the vets. We've taken her back since for check ups and she honestly can't wait to get in the door and say hello to the nurses and vets. Seriously, last time we took her she was scratching at the door of the vets trying to get in! For us, this fact alone makes these guys amazing. If you're fortunate enough to have a pet treated at this practice, you're little critter will be in very good hands. It can be a scary time but try to stay calm and kind.

We can’t begin to describe what amazing care we received from Village Vet Belsize Park when our greyhound Charlie was very poorly. Sam and the team provided emergency surgery and monitored Charlie, kept us updated and reassured. The whole team are devoted, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure our baby is safe and health. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Used the emergency service here for our cat who became quite ill quite quickly. They were incredibly helpful and reassuring. Not our normal vet as we use a sister branch elsewhere but for emergency service it is fantastic.

Thank you to Sam and the team at this Branch who were amazing (and also thank you to Georgio at the Winchmore Hill Branch who managed to get us an appointment with the Hampstead Branch on an urgent basis). My dog was very poorly and had to stay overnight for nearly a week. On seeing Sam last Friday for an urgent appointment, he managed to make myself and my Stepdad feel very calm when we were really upset. It makes a big difference to have confidence that your dog is in good hands when they are that sick and have to stay in the vet hospital. Sam and the team kept me updated daily, usually twice a day as to our dogs progress, and we happily were able to collect him on Wednesday evening. I even got a call to check up on his progress yesterday! Thank you so much to the entire team at Hampstead.

I have used Village Vet Hampstead for well over twenty six years the service and kindness one receives is excellent also it wonderful to see how the Vets and staff really care and interact with all the animals.
but most important of all Village Vet not only cares about our animals but they also care about us the owners.
C.
Was able to get my cat seen for an emergency after hours in under 40 minutes. The vet was extremely professional and clearly cared about my cat's condition.

Village Vet Hampstead has been looking after my cats and dog for over 10 years. Through accidents, illness and routine care, they have never let us down. I can’t recommend the practice enough. Kind, thorough and always professional. 💯

Cannot thank Sam, Chloe and staff enough. Our senior pug was seriously ill with pneumonia. Despite his age, the team worked above and beyond to kindly care for him. They were always honest with us, but didn't give up, which saved our pup. Even after he was discharged, they were always available for a phone consult and readily answered our questions, and we had many. We were put at ease throughout this stressful situation. We are forever grateful as he pulled through and is back to his grumpy, hungry self. Miracles happen with great vet care! Without the expertise and care of VV, we would have lost our dear boy. Thank you!!!

Our dog recently got attacked by another dog. Sheldon and the team looked after him and saw him through two operations and the recovery. We can’t but sing prizes. They did everything possible to manage the situation and how it developed, they considered our situation and discussed professionally and honestly every stage and progress. They did very well at managing our emotional state as well. We would highly recommend them.

The team at village vet Hampstead are incredible. My dog got a stick stuck at the back of her mouth on Hampstead Heath and my friend got on the phone with them and we got right in for an emergency appointment. The vet kept my dog very calm and managed to remove the stick without having to sedate her. The whole thing was really traumatic for me but they were super helpful and didn’t even end up charging me for the procedure. Bella is home sleeping now and I can’t thank this team enough.

This surgery has literally saved our fur baby cocos life! To say the team are Angels is truly an understatement!, coco needed a hysterectomy due to pyometra, and after surgery an EMERGENCY BLOOD TRANSFUSION we were supported from the start with constant updates and positive communication, coco hadn't spent a night away from home in 10 years, so we were extremely anxious, we needn't be..they were so good with coco, we are forever indebted and will never forget this team, receptionists were amazing, Jonas performed the surgery sam the transfusion chloe the hospitalisation and Allison discharged, this is an amazing team, we ate forever grateful, THANKYOU, the kutis, especially coco

This is a fantastic vet practice. In particular, I highly recommend Dr. Alex Hatch who is one of the vets there. My dog became very ill a few months ago with a gastro issue, he deteriorated so quickly. I didn’t feel at all confident about the local vet’s advice, so I got them to refer me to Village Vet.
Alex examined Percy as an emergency referral. I was so worried, but he was incredibly calm and capable. He examined Percy way more thoroughly than the other vet, managing to ask focused questions whilst at the same time looking after both mine (!) and Percy’s needs.
Percy had to stay in for a few nights as he was very poorly, but I felt he was in the best place.
Turns out Percy couldn’t have been in better hands. Not only did Alex
have a fantastic bedside manner with both humans (me!) and dogs, he’s an incredibly highly skilled acute / emergency care specialist. I felt so lucky that Percy could see him that day.
If you’re looking for a highly skilled vet, but also someone who is super friendly and approachable, then I can’t recommend Alex highly enough. It’s clear from his credentials that he’s one of the most highly skilled doctors in London for acute / critical care. He has a dog of his own, and you can tell that he truly cares.
Even though it’s a 30 minute drive from my house, I’ve decided to change vet practice to Village Vet as a result. The receptionist was really calm and friendly too, and the veterinary nurses who I met were lovely.
Thank you so much Dr Alex Hatch and team! 10/10

I took my cat here over the weekend. My regular vet is currently closed on weekends, and my cat needed some urgent attention.
I called up on a Saturday not long after they opened, and got through pretty much straight away. The receptionist was really helpful and patient and made sure that I was aware that the consultation would be more expensive than usual because it was an out of hours emergency appointment.
When I arrived later that afternoon, the receptionists were taking calls non-stop – obviously they get a lot of requests. Nonetheless, they were friendly, the registration process was swift, and my appointment happened on time.
I opted to put my cat in overnight because she was refusing food/water and being uncharacteristically aggressive, so I knew she would not accept medicine from me at home (the cheaper option that Village Vet suggested). They were transparent about the costs throughout, and I decided to go with the more expensive option, and get tests.
I paid my deposit, left around 3.40pm and Village Vet told me they'd call me in the morning with an update. The next morning, I got a prompt call telling me that all of my cat's tests had come back normal, she'd started eating again, and I could come and collect her when it was convenient. The overnight stay, IV treatment, medicine and tests came in slightly under budget. I know that I'm lucky that I had the money available and didn't have to pay out for further tests or operations.
The vet who looked after my cat, Jake Weinberg, was very communicative and reassuring. He also sent my results straight out to my regular vet. My cat now seems to be making a full recovery thanks to Village Vet.

I was recommended Village by a friend and I can honestly see why. I took my 5 month old English Bulldog Ruby in to see Laura on Friday as she needed surgery on her nose and throat. Cannot thank Laura, Alex, Sarah and the team enough! They have been so good with Ruby and so kind to me! They all made a fuss of her from the minutes she got there and it made me feel so much more at ease leaving her, these guys clearly care a great deal about pets and their owners and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
Thank you Village Vet Hampstead! Ruby and I are very grateful to you all.

These guys are magicians! The levels of care and expertise are of an extremely high standard. Our cat Holly has severe heart disease: we were warned in 2016 that her prognosis was very poor, a few months at best. Yet here she is 5 years later, with an excellent quality of life thanks to the complex meds regime they initiated. She’s had a couple of crises when we’ve not expected her to pull through, but they have brought her back. We know her time will come, but are reassured that when they do tell us it’s the end of the road - as they have with other cats over years- it really is because there is nothing more to be done. We trust them absolutely. Yes they are expensive - but that level of expertise is worth every penny.

My kitten ben fell from a 5 story building window, we rushed him to the only vets who were open 24 hours. They rushed out the vets to take him off our hands when we arrived and reported back within 15 minutes to explain his damage. Ben is recovering from a fractured diaphragm and his liver moved from his chest back to where it should be. From your dedication and professionalism our ben has survived. Thank you so much for your service, you guys are liturgy life savers. 5 star service all the way!

Hi, my name is Alex and we have been with Village Vet Hampstead since the new year 2021. I was registered with another local vet but needed my cat to stay in hospital overnight and Village Vet hampstead is just on my doorstep. I am absolutely thankful and grateful for the cares that my cat received. So much so, I transferred to Village Vet and now both my cats are looked after, and cared for with very personal attention. I also find accessing the team of vets for dialogue very easy. Parking is available too in the area, which makes the whole process of dropping and collecting my cats a lot less stressful. I strongly recommend Village Vet Hampstead and I rate it 5 stars.

After a very challenging few days with our little cat, Molly, we had to make a rather urgent trip to the vet. Village Vet were nothing but accommodating, compassionate and informative. The diagnosis was explained clearly as were our options.
A massive thank you to Dr. Sam and Dr. Chloe.

The team at Village Vet Hampstead have always been brilliant whenever I have had to go in with my two Parson terriers, more recently however they have gone from being great to being my heroes as they saved my darling dog Disco after she was hit by a car and snapped and broke her neck. Not only did they give her incredible care and emergency support (she then had to be transferred to a specialist spinal unit at the RVC) but they gave her so much love and I think that made all the difference. The vets called to follow up to find out how she was doing, which they didn't need to do. Disco is doing incredibly well thanks to their emergency care. Highly recommend.

I took my 3 year old cat to Village Vet Hampstead as an emergency patient in April 2016 after being referred from my usual vet when he was experiencing breathing difficulties. I was in shock when shortly after he was diagnosed with mediastinal lymphoma (a massive tumour in his chest) and told that he was in really big trouble and that I had two choices, palliative care or chemotherapy. Having had a cat go through chemotherapy before who had a thoroughly miserable and unsuccessful experience I found myself leaning heavily on advice from Helen, the vet looking after him at Village Vet. Right from the very beginning my experience with Helen, and with every single one of the staff at Village Vet has been nothing short of excellent. At what was an extremely stressful time Helen patiently discussed the treatment and options with me and no question of mine was too stupid for her, and I’m pretty sure in my panicked and stressed state I asked quite a few.
We went for the chemotherapy treatment, and 18 months later he is still going strong. I have absolutely no doubt that this is down to the high level of care he receives and progressive thinking of the vets when it comes to his condition and treatment.
As a pet owner we are used to others not really understanding how strongly we feel about our animals, but Village Vet have never once made me feel like they are just ‘administering the medicine and we’ll see you next time’, or that I as an owner am being a bit mad or over-worrying. From the reception girls, to the vet nurses, to the vets and the specialists - they look after their patient’s owners just as much as they look after their patients.

I have had to visit this vet during an emergency on two occasions, the first time was when my baby rat Toast collapsed suddenly and had to be rushed in. He very sadly died moments before we arrived, but still the vet looked at him to tell me what had happened. I was very distraught and completely heart broken, the vet, nurses and receptionist were all extremely sympathetic and so kind to me. I was incredibly touched this morning when I received a lovely sympathy card from them, such a thoughtful thing for them to do.

Excellent vets, highly knowledgable and incredibly caring. Wonderful that they are there 24/7 and 365 days a year. They saved our aged bearded collie’s life just before Xmas and have recently cared for his very nasty wound, managing to avoid surgery and checking on him every 4 days, over many weeks. Friendly and helpful receptionists too.

We received excellent service from all the veterinary workers. They treated our elderly dog for a major tooth issue, which required several hours of surgery. The service and support was exemplary and he made a full recovery. Thank you

This is a lovely Veterinary and 24-hour emergency clinic. I can't understand why the Village Vet Hampstead doesn't have a higher star rating ? We received a first-rate service starting with the concern from the receptionists at the door through to the Vets on Duty. Our cat scared the life out of us by crawling back through mud one Saturday afternoon, after we suspect, being hit by a car a few days earlier. Due to swelling, Village Vet Hampstead couldn’t evaluate the extent of his injuries at the time, but both the night cover and day staff called us to update us of his condition every day. Laura Woodward successfully operated on the broken pelvis and they kept him in for observation for a few more days including some physio. I’m sure “Banshee” our vocal, litter scattering cat made an impression while he was there. it’s now been Six months and with the days getting longer and the weather improving he’s getting about the garden with more confidence every week. Thanks to all the team at Hampstead Village vet !

I highly recommend Village Vet Hampstead for anyone who has an overly sensitive dog as I do. It was so refreshing to see how attentive the staff members were to my little boy's need. Taking my hound to the vet has always been a mission for me as he gets easily frightened by other dogs. I will definitely bring him back when needed. Superb experience!
R. T.
Mary is an absolutely outstanding vet. She explained everything clearly and in detail, and patiently answered all of my questions. Our cat was quite ill, and I am convinced that Mary and the rest of the veterinary staff saved her life.

We just moved here and Murphy has been sniffing around the Village Vet every time we take a walk. He has been fascinated by the many animal friends he's met coming out of the office. So he finally had his first appt and met the lovely Heidi. (Murphy has a thing for blondes) We were both impressed by her expertise and patience. In fact, we've been VERY impressed with everyone who works at this stellar spot.

I had to bring my cat in as urgent because she was bleeding from her nose and my registered vet was about to close and doesn’t have emergency/24 hour care.
I was greeted by a calm vet who examined DM with care, all the while explaining to me what she was looking for/what she was thinking in terms of possibilities, given the information I had given her and DMs age. She was clearly preparing me for a possibly ‘bad’ outcome, while being clear as to the route forward to establishing what was happening. Costs were also an honest upfront statement.
From leaving her (with the thought that this might be the last time if the CT scan showed something nasty and incurable) to all subsequent calls, I was kept informed in an empathetic, clear and caring way.
Happily the little madam’s situation was a 4cm grass seed up her bugle. A 2 hour op ( which the vet admitted was one of his most challenging) saw her right.
She was identified as needing dental care, and I shall be using VV for that.
I felt valued as a customer, but , more importantly, my cat got all the attention she needed.
Just to add; previous experience with VV was a less happy outcome with our dog. But care and attention was absolutely spot on.
A. B.
These guys are worth 5 stars and beyond. Took over dog case from other big chain vet where our dog was basically miss-treated. Did the tests, full explanations and cured the disease with few visits. Kelly the vet was very professional and you always felt it will be taken care off! Hats off
B. J.
Brought my dog in yesterday and she stayed overnight.. When I picked her up today she didn't seem that enthusiastic to see me. Instead she tried to follow the vet into the back room and pulled hard towards the receptionists when we were leaving. I think she loved it there! Clearly they treated her well and she didn't want to leave them. Treatment was expensive but ended up being 25% less than the price they quoted me when I brought her in so I felt they were really honest in that regard. And there was never any bother if I followed up and called with questions at any time.

I just wanted to write to thank the outstanding team at Village Vet in Hampstead. I took my cat in for an emergency appointment on Saturday with Lillie poisoning. We were quickly seen, the vets' judgement and all the advice we were given throughout the 3 day treatment was brilliant. My cat stayed at the hospital for 2 full days having IV, I was allowed to see her every day, the staff were always welcoming and never rushed me during these visits which was so appreciated. I also received sms updates every morning from the vet on duty which was very reassuring and the staff at reception were very efficient in dealing with sending off the details to the insurance company. Thank you so much to the whole team for the wonderful work you do and for the care you exercise in doing it. Thank you.

I brought my senior boarder collie, Katie, into Village Vet, Hampstead Hospital for an emergency visit back in July. Her leg and elbow had swelled up to double their normal size and she had a fever of 42 degrees. I was terrified. Dr. Alex Hatch was our saviour! While the initial prognosis was dire, he took all the steps necessary to find out what was wrong with my poor girl (turned out to be a nasty bacterial infection) and treat her accordingly. She spent 5 nights in the hospital there. Every day when I visited, Dr. Hatch made sure to give me a full briefing on her progress, and an updated quote on the cost of her care/stay. He was in touch via the phone a couple times a day as well. Unfortunately, I am well versed on emergency vet care having had multiple dogs over the years. I was so lucky to find such great care with Dr. Hatch and the rest of the Village Vet Hampstead Hospital team. From the receptionists, to lab techs, to the doctors, I was so happy with the care Katie received. It's been a slow road to recovery, but Katie is doing great. And she walks into the vet's office happily with her tail wagging for our follow up visits. Thanks to the entire team!

Staff was really kind and helpful when I bring my cat Sushi about a month ago. It was sadly too late for her, but the vet present at this moment was really kind and understanding. I don’t remember your name but thank for your help.

We needed an emergency vet in London while visiting from elsewhere. Having been very disappointed by our experience another vets locally, we ended up for a second opinion here.
They saved our dogs life with major surgery. Diagnosis was swift and the facilities and care were great.
Wonderful, deeply caring staff. Superb communication throughout your pets treatment and recovery, excellent telephone advice and free follow up appointments.
We feel so grateful that our dog ended up in the care of these folk.
H. A.
Caring and dedicated staff, always polite and helpful. Our cat Cassie had an op there for her blocked gut and they revived her at age 15. Ongoing care is needed, but they deliver a trustworthy, excellent service.

I’m giving this vet practice a 5 star review - actually it’s not me just me that’s rating them so highly, it’s my two dogs. I have an older labradoodle and a young 6 month old puppy. Every day my puppy wants to visit the vets. Why? Because they are the most dog friendly, warm and generous people you can imagine. She gets so many cuddles and treats. But I know she doesn’t just go there whenever she can for the treats as I have pockets full of the same treats, she goes because she knows they love her and she loves them. She’d be very happy if they let her join the team at reception and she was allowed to stay all day.
As an owner, they are so considerate and thoughtful. If I have any concern, they are happy to chat with me. If they think the Vet’s advise is needed, they’ll let me know.
My puppy has also just been neutered there which was stressful (for me, not for the puppy as she got to spend the day at the vets and was so happy). They’ve looked after my dog so well, given us advise when we needed it and checked on her recovery so thoroughly.
The bottom line is that you feel that they really care about your pet.
D. B.
Amazing! Unlike most other 24/7 vets in London, who only care about the money, village vet, actually gave advice, helped me with my puppy issue and actually cared. Eventually had to go in, but prior to that they guided me through everything and eventually we realised it was a serious issue. Rates are good and the staff are amazing. Wouldn't go anywhere else in an emergency. Amazing staff with a genuine love for animals

God bless the good doctors working at this clinic. They saved my cat's life!

We are so grateful to these fantastic Vets. We had to take our Labrador Harry hear for emergency surgery. He was in a life threatening situation after being treated abysmally by another local vet. Diagnosis was instant and they saved his life. Everyone from vets nurses and receptionists were superb. Can not thank them enough. Would recommend them to anyone.

I've been a client at Village Vet for over 20 years and have had need to visit them many times with my cats. The team of vets, nurses and admin staff are always very friendly and helpful and extremely caring. The vets are excellent and very thorough. My cat is 19 and I am sure he would not have lived this long were it not for the care and attention at Village Vet.

My dog came to Village vets very ill after finding and eating a packet of Ibuprofen. I found everyone at the vets extremely helpful from the reception staff, nurses to the doctors. When shifts changed I found the appropriate vet was always filled in. The specialist vet Adam was also particularly helpful and happy to explain in detail what as happening etc. I felt that my dog was having the best care possible and was treated with fantastic warmth. The vet was also very accommodating to our family letting me visit twice a day and in the evening often with 4 children! They were very clear with the costs involved and I felt did their best to avoid unnecessary procedures. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

My dog Molly got a horrible infection in July and Dr Crina Dragu was absolutely incredible - I cannot recommend her highly enough. Not only did she catch something the other vets didn't, but then she went above and beyond to get Molly out of the extreme pain she was in and communicate compassionately and in depth along the way. She even stayed late on multiple occasions to give her extra care during her worst days - I can't thank her enough! Her diligence, care and expertise are amazing, she is now my go to Vet for all and any care.
E. S.
Absolutely amazing team! It was such a stressful time when my cat was injured but the vets, especially Alex, took such great care of her and all her complex needs. Even though I didn’t want to have to keep bringing my cat back, every day I did, staff were always super kind and friendly not just to my cat but also to me so I couldn’t recommend the clinic more highly. Thank you so much Village Vet!
L. J.
I have been to Village Vet many times over the last year and a half and cant believe what people are reviewing them! This is awful- don't be discouraged they are great- they have been consistently brilliant with me and my puppy Arthur. looking after him when I have been concerned, giving advice and calming me down as well as taking amazing care of him!
Pets are expensive when they are sick that's not the Vets fault!!! They do everything to look after the animals and are so passionate about them! I hate when people do this to places!!
Last time I was in- a lovely Lab that you could see knew its way in, trotted straight in on his own (as the owner was dealing with something) and went straight over to one of the receptionists for a cuddle and a treat who he clearly knew well! All my dogs growing up hated the vets! surely that's a sign of how great they are!!
Thanks for being so great Village vets- sorry to see such stupid reviews on here- what utter rubbish!!
E. R.
The village vet is the best practice I ve even experienced. They are always warm, welcoming, and deeply concerned with my doggie s health and well being. Thank you! I highly recommend them.

Review updated.
In 2016 my show dog was shaved during a blood test without my permission, an incident which I was deeply upset by, for further details please read below. However for the past two years, Village Vet has gone above and beyond to ensure the health and wellbeing of my dog, therefore I would like to revise my negative review to a positive one.
John, the head vet at the Hampstead branch, understands how much my dog means to me, he personally calls me back whenever I called the surgery or sent in an email. He genuinely understands the love I have for my dog. We needed another blood test last year and John spent over half an hour on my dog just to ensure that my dog was not shaved during the procedure.
Jamie, a senior vet at the Hampstead branch, is very thorough in his consultations. He will share with you his extensive research to back up his recommendations.
Simon, a vet at another branch with a special interest in eyes, was not doing consultations on the day that my dog's eyes were injured, but he made an exception and saw us within two hours.
Alisa, a vet at the Hampstead branch, is attentive towards her patients and she is gentle with her examinations.
Blood test incident - A blood sample from my dog was needed and I asked whether I could go with the vet while this procedure is being carried out but my request was refused. I was asked to wait upstairs. When my dog was returned to me, he was SHAVED. Half of his front coat was gone! The vet did not ask for my permission to shave my dog. I was waiting upstairs, the vet should have checked with me. It was possible to perform a blood test without shaving so please make sure you tell your vet not to shave your dog.

We absolutely love this place! Such a nice people work there! Everyone is helpful and kind! The vets are the best! We are very thankful for Helen who healed our cat! She was so sick nearly died when we took her in then a few days later she getting better and better and a few weeks later she is much better then EVER! 😊 She is 17 years old and has this problem since 2 years now but with their help our cat is better than this sickness started.😁 We 100% pleased with the service what we got! Because it's a 24 hours hospital one day we met other nurse than the next day but everyone was prep, knowing about our cat's situation! It's so professional! I'd recommend them to anyone. The pets are in the best hands there.😉😊

This is one of the few clinics that are open 24hours. Prices are high, and so are everywhere else in London. I am very grateful to the doctor who saved my cat. I am also grateful to the kind receptionists and the nurses, they called me many times every day and I know they took good care of my feline. Thank you :)
(only one negative note. My cat was sick last year too, I wish the doctors would have told me more about his medical issues back then. Maybe, knowing what I know now, my baby would have avoided all the pain)
Again, thank you for everything!
From a very happy cat and her human companion

Veterinary Surgeon Sam Joseph at the Village Vet Hampstead is a very reassuring presence who takes the time that is necessary to reassure the owners whose pets' he is treating. Our 21 year old cat, Pushkie had badly infected teeth that resulted in an acute abscess . Sam advised us on the best procedure before Pushkie went under a general anaesthetic, which could have been dangerous for such an elderly cat. He identified underlying thyroid problems which were treated before the anaesthetic. After Pushkie's surgery, which was challenging, she made a complete recovery within a week and is now as bright as a button. Sam's advice was given with such assurance that we never doubted it. Not only is he a first class Vet, he is a first class human being. Thank you Sam and Best Wishes, Stephen Macmillan and Amanda Partridge

Best veterinary experience. My cat is receiving better health care than me!
Had to bring my cat here in an emergency for the first time this week. I was very impressed with our vet who was extremely knowledgable, really took her time to explain everything about the problem at hand and answered every question I had. More than I had expected. All the staff were very friendly and their love of animals is so obvious. Thank you all

I came in to register my new kittens and was very impressed with how lovely and professional the reception were. The vets were exceptional and really put my mind at ease. Look foward to coming back for my 6 month checkup :)

As a rabbit owner I was advised to find a vet that has experience in smaller animals and that is exactly what I have found in Village Vet. On the few occasions that I have had to use them in an emergency they have been extremely responsive, dedicated and caring. They're level of animal care and honesty is outstanding and I have every confidence when I need to bring my rabbits here. It isn't just the vets themselves, but also the nurses and reception staff who are equally friendly and caring.

My labrador Charlie loves going to the vet - whether it's because she doesn't feel well or just because she just wants some treats! She is always welcomed in by kind receptionists and cuddles. We have also unfortunately had to make use of the emergency services and saw a few different vets for more serious issues, but everyone was professional and very caring.

My cat was seeing this vet for a very long time. Always excellent service. Sometimes a little pricey but it was worth it. Then when it came time to put my dear 22-year old man down I cannot give adequate words to describe how we were treated. These vets went above and beyond let's say this much, and I am eternally grateful to them for what they did. If I ever get another pet in the future I will be sure to bring him or her back to this vet. Keep up the wonderful work Village Vet Hampstead!

Great practices. My dog is looked after by Highgate as well as Hampstead. They all seem very kind and genuinely happy to see my terrified dog even though he can be dangerous due to his fear of vets. They listen to my concerns and have really tried to help his health problems. So far we seem to be getting somewhere.Thank you

I would like to express my utter gratitude for finding this incredible place full of amazing individuals that are helping our four legged babies on a daily basis! We had a very worrying experience with our 7 months old yorkshire terrier, who had severe D&V and was rapidly losing weight. She needed to be admitted to the hospital, where she stayed for 3 nights. We were able to visit her twice a day, spend time with her, take her for a walk and we were called on regular basis for updates. The whole administrative and medical staff were absolutely amazing and the love and care we saw them treat the animals with was beautiful. More vets should be like you guys. Thank you so much for helping our little Ruby completely recover! We would always recommend your place to everyone.

Village Vet Hampstead was great when I visited with Lottie my poodle last week. The staff were lovely and helpful and the vets and nurses so attentive to poor Lottie. She's been doing much better and i can't thank them enough for their support and care. They really do care about the animals they look after.

Exceptional care from the Village Vet Team at Hampstead. Not only do the vets do a great job caring of your beloved furry family members, the nurses and patient care assistants combined deliver a second to none level of attention and love to the animals that come through the hospital doors. I always feel at ease when my dogs have been in the hospital for the day, which is very important when you love your dogs as if they were your children.
Thank you VV for the extra care and special love you give to my fur babies.

We have been coming to the Village Vet (Belsize Park) for 7 years now with both of our cats who are 14 years old. You won’t do better for your pets. Village Vet have saved both of their lives. Once from the mistake of another vet, our starting point, and 2 years ago they performed a cancer surgery on the other one, and she’s still with us. They have one of the best soft-tissue surgeons in the world with multiple papers to her name, but also delivered a care and love for their little patients that the NHS would have been proud of. Dr de Kam, who is now the clinical director, has been instrumental in the treatment of our cats and we can’t thank him enough for his expertise.
The big difference between Village Vet and other vets in the area is the attention to detail. Getting the right treatment the first time often involves best estimations, as in any medical discipline, but the better HCP knows what tests to run, what to look for to confirm a diagnosis or reject it. Every one of the vets we have encountered over 7 years have had this set of skills, even the younger ones. Village Vet seems to attract the best and brightest. Perhaps that is down to the management team, who have proven to be at hand for support when needed.
Sure they are not cheap, but we firmly believe that their skills have saved us from repeat visits, extra tests (with the added distress to our cats), and extra treatments. Quality costs more but is worth it when the results save other costs.
We can’t recommend Village Vet enough!

We've had a pretty unlucky year with our two dogs and Village Vet have been fantastic. From Francesca's (St John's Wood) initial diagnosis through Jonas (Hampstead) and his surgical team to Alison (Highgate) and her physiotherapy we've received the best care from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend Village Vet to anyone who wants to know their pets are in the best hands.

When our pug got really sick overnight with haemorrhaging gastroenteritis, he received great care from Dr Airan. He examined him thoroughly and took plenty of time to walk us through his diagnostic process. He was also available on the phone when I called in a panic, and didn’t push for unnecessary extra visits. The charges for out of hours consultations are steep but you do get told the cost when you book your visit.
S. P.
I brought my young yorkshire there. He was really sick. The ladies at the reception were very helpful and i was impressed about their knowledge. I really wanted to thank them for what they did (and the vet and nurses). You literally saved his life. Thanks to all of you.
I recommend this vet hospital because of the quality of their staff!!!

Crina the acupuncture vet is incredible! Our little Maltese has luxating patella and her knees and hips have been bothering her recently as a result, which decreased her quality of life and made her painful. Within ONE session of acupuncture the change in our girl is amazing. She's enjoying life again, running and playing around like a happy puppy. We're so grateful. If your dog is suffering from chronic pain don't hesitate, make an appointment to see Crina. Worth every penny.
A. M.
Wonderful, caring vets!!! The vets have always explained what medication, procedure, test or exam is needed. The cost has also always been explained beforehand. I find the service exceptional and the vets thoughtful, kind and caring. I'm always able to get an appointment and twice I've needed emergency advice over the phone. They were very accommodating. We really appreciate such great and helpful service especially when it comes to our precious labrador.
C. S.
We've had to come here as our out-of-hours vet a few times now and the vets, nurses and reception staff are all super friendly and helpful. They've always tried to be quick to help us and the dog always seems happy to go there so he must be being treated well!
My only downside is that it's very expensive but as we've mostly been there either at night or on weekends that's to be expected.

I bring in today a little bird that I found in the street, probably with same physical problem, and they took it and start looking after him without asking me money.
I was doubtful initially because I thought they would leave me out of the clinic but at the end they were very kind with me and helpful.
Very nice people, very nice doctor!!
God bless you!!

I took my ferret here on new years eve as an emergency due to an accident. Initially we were quoted the same price as the treatment would be for a dog by the locum vet, however the next day when we picked him up, the other vet Helen corrected her colleagues mistake so we paid the right amount. Both vets were professional giving us phone updates very early in the morning to let us know how our ferret was doing. Helen was very caring and gave advice over email aswell after he was discharged.
Overall, I would say it is a good vet but in an emergency be prepared to pay quite a high bill. Another positive is that it is 24 hours and very close to me. The receptionists answer the phones straight away.

Having recently treated my dog after a road traffic accident, I can confidently say that Village Vet in Hampstead is the best veterinary practice I have ever come across. Their caring approach is matched only by their utter professionalism. The Village Vet is open 24 hours, 7 days a week - and is staffed by the most expert staff imaginable. Adam Mugford, specialist in Critical Care, led a team of skilled and committed staff. Throughout the traumatic time, we felt totally confident that every effort was being made on behalf of our dog. Equally, we were treated with care and respect.
During the course of the treatment, we were kept fully and clearly informed of our dog’s condition and problems. Although this was very unwelcome listening and hard to hear, at all times the staff, whilst being as informative as possible, were extremely sensitive to our feelings and hugely respectful towards us.
The equipment and facilities are top class – we were astonished at the level of care provided. Exactly a week after the accident, we have been allowed to take our dog home, having been furnished with a clear and comprehensive discharge programme and total back up and support.
During the critical week, we were also witness to the experience of other clients. With problems of every type, all were welcomed and treated with respect and care. During the weekend, Village Vet Hampstead provides emergency cover for many local vet practices. We saw the staff working non-stop to provide the very best care to a huge range of problems.
I know that Village Vet is currently investing in even more and better equipment to ensure the very highest availability of facilities to the much-loved pets in North London.
Finally, I would like to say that the experience I had was hugely traumatic. My dog was very badly injured – his condition and appearance were distressing to see. The staff see such injuries and trauma regularly – it must be very upsetting. Yet, their calm professionality and quiet efficiency were extremely reassuring to me. And yet they seem to never lose their delight in all their patients. And their happiness at seeing our dog survive is extremely moving.
I can only be grateful for their commitment and I recommend them without hesitation.

We had to take our dog in late at night after he was attacked. They took great care of him and us. They didn’t mind us calling in to check on him and were great with after care. Fingers crossed we won’t have to use them again but they’ll be the first call if needed!!

I have used Village Vet Hampstead for over 25 years and have watched it grow from extremely humble beginnings to the state of the art, multi string of practices of excellence, that it is today. I recently did a secret observation of this practice from 11pm through to the early hours of the next morning; I can only describe what I saw as the most incredible standard of care and efficiency I had ever experienced in my life. When an emergency presented itself around midnight, a team of the most organised, and obviously highly experienced, nurses were immediately at hand to tackle the situation and diffuse any further trauma. During the night I observed a regular flow of clients with their pets and also saw many of the in-patients being walked in the village by nursing staff. Such is the standard of care and hygiene here, nurses are often seen carrying buckets of disinfectant and mops to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for the local community! A sense of community is what Village Vet is all about.
The brainchild of founder, Dr Brendan Robinson, Village Vet prides itself as 'special vets for special pets' and this is about as near to the truth as it gets. This is care and expertise of the highest quality with many leading veterinary skills and qualifications in-house. This practice is unique in as much as it can boast a Tier 3 accredited emergency hospital to which referrals come from across the capital and beyond.
I always judge as I find and I can honestly assure anyone that my experience at Village Vet has been nothing but comforting, inspiring, and constantly reassuring. This is a warm and friendly place at the most personal of levels. You are cared for here by people who genuinely care. They will stand by you and support you at the darkest of times and they will bring back the light for you until you are healed. Needless to say, Village Vet is indeed the vets your pet would choose.

On this occasion we were impressed by Village Vet's Emergency and Critical Care specialist Simon Cook's bedside manner and genuine care in helping us through the difficult hurdles of post-procedure care for our french bulldog who had undergone an endoscopy.
Simon called my husband and I back, and took the time to understand the daily progress our dog was making in gaining his strength and appetite back after the procedure. Despite having to bring our dog up twice to be seen post-endoscopy, he was well looked after and we were advised on "what to do if..." as well as being asked to provide regular status updates on our dog's recovery.
Thanks to Simon and Varren (who assisted with an after-hours appointment) for making this very traumatic post-procedure more manageable and helping us to feel like we weren't left to deal with everything alone.

I work at this hospital however despite living on the other side of London I bring my dog here as the care and kindness from all the staff is exceptional. Having had a very unwell dog in the past it is so important for me to find somewhere I feel that the welfare of my dog is put first and that he is in safe and experienced hands. I would highly recommend this practice.

Our beloved cat was rushed here in a state of emergency late at night by our cat sitter whilst we were away on holiday. The care he received saved his life and we are eternally grateful to the team for returning him to us. Nothing was too much trouble. Someone was always on the end of the phone to update on his progress, no matter the time of day, and their post-treatment support and advice were invaluable. The team truly cared about our boy. From the whole family - a big 'thank you'!

Had to bring my young dog in for an emergency visit after he'd eaten something off the ground and become lethargic, sick and hypersensitive. Fairly quickly vet diagnosed him as quite heavily stoned, having ingested some of North London's finest.
I was a walk in but they were able to see us right away, took him in for tests & treatment.
Reception staff and vet all very kind

Mary, Sophie and the whole team were so brilliant, compassionate and skilled to the last for our very sick kitten. We will be forever grateful and could not recommend Village Vet Hampstead more wholeheartedly.

I have been with Brendan and his team at Village Vet since we got our first kittens (Lieutenant Worf and Hurricane Lilly) in 1995. They now look after our new dog Alaska and cat Tony Stark, both of whom have been with us since they were tiny. Village Vet receptionists, nurses and vets are always charming and helpful; and very sensible when it comes to treatments. Thoroughly recommend.

To say that these guy are angels is an understatement. Last year we very almost lost our dog, Bonnie to haemorragic gastroenteritis. They gave her 24 hour a day intensive care and managed to save her life. Everyone in the place knew Bonnie by sight and name and we always get the most amazing reception and care. Even a year later, no introduction is needed. Bonnie had to undergo an operation on her back legs too; the aftercare and rehabilitation programme was second to none. They've always gone the extra mile for us and I can't ever say enough how thankful we are. When I went to write this review, I noticed a few bad reviews that had been written. I will say I've witnessed some nasty, difficult people in the reception area. The staff always remain professional which is far more than I would be able to do with some of these people! Some guy below said he spent £150 on flea treatment. Where from? Harrods? Another woman complains that they gave her dog medication for a life threatening condition but she didn't recognise the drugs so she took her dog away and it was better immediately. Nothing to do with the life saving drugs given by village vets then? Pet owners can be mental! From a sane one - I can't recommend enough what a truly wonderful place this is. Your pet will be in the best possible hands here.
J. S.
The team at the Belsize Lane location have been absolutely fantastic! They targeted the issue immediately and found out what was wrong with my
Dog within hours. The amount of care and attention is like no other, each dr and nurse personally took the time to provide in depth updates several times a day. A most tremendous thanks to all of the team there! A special thanks to Sam for diagnosing so quickly and to Rachel, Matt, Elliot and so many others for getting my pup better!

Excellent emergency care for my Doberman puppy who ate something toxic and became extremly sick rapidly.
He was in top condition after staying overnight at Village Vets. A great service for emergency cases.
Friendly and caring staff.

Amazing, caring staff who helped me and my dog in an emergency. The vet and nurses who dealt with me and my dog really helped me to feel more at ease in the horrible situation as I knew they cared for my dog and wanted to do everything they could to help her. My dog made a full recovery and I have them to thank. Will be using Village Vet Hampstead from now in all times of need.

All of the staff here were very helpful and amazing in dealing with an emergency.. My 8 year old Pug Gazza suffered with heat stroke and they did an incredible job with him!

5* service from an excellent Veterinary practice, with a real sense of care and community spirit. My dog was really well looked after by a compassionate vet, who was prepared to go the extra mile.

12 months ago my cat was rushed into emergency surgery after impaling herself on a fence. I was directed here and couldn't be happier with the service. Regular phone updates (they called me in the middle of the night to let me know how the surgery went), and allowed me to come visit her every day. Everything was explained to me so I wasn't left wondering what random things were, and the follow up care was thorough.

Our cat had a litter of 4 kittens last year, 2 of which were born with defects. Basically their bums were sealed, meaning they couldn't poop properly. We only noticed this was the case when we moved the little guys onto solid food, and we noticed their painful distress as faeces was pushed through the little kittens urethra.
Village Vet did surgery on the 2 kittens to essentially open up their bums and close the opening between the anus and the urethra. The surgery went well and the 2 kittens responded well. unfortunately, due to the nature of the problem, specific medication was needed to keep the kittens digestion process in a certain state (I'll spare you the details) and more or less constant veterinary care was needed. 2 months after the initial surgery my wife and I were forced to put the 2 kittens to sleep. The reasons for us doing so had more to do with us being unable to afford the constant care, and insurance companies unwilling to cover bills of this pre-existing nature.
The care that these 2 kittens got while we tried to keep them going was second to none. Village Vet went above and beyond with their attention and support. Thank you to all the vets and Nurses that work there, you're a great bunch of people.

Over the past 3 years I have had nothing but exemplary care and attention for my dogs at Vilkage Vet. My first encounter was with Sebastien who was nothing short of fantastic with both my dog Bobby and myself, I have then dealt with Chris, John , Sean , Jamie who also been brilliant. Big shout also to Alison and the guys at the Branch in Highgate who have been lovely with both Florence and now Daisy.... I could go on .... But the level of care I have experienced has been nothing short of fantastic.

Late one evening I brought my 15 year old dog in after being Savaged by another dog. She was in a very poor state. The Village Vet team were solid, professional and a comfort at a terrible time. First they patched me up as I had also been bitten and then they operated on Sally and saved her life. Every member of the team was brilliant, considerate and skillful. Sally is now fully recovered so a big thank you.

My 2 dogs have been coming here for 8 years and they have always been treated well and effectively! The staff are always very friendly and happy to see the pups and the doctors and nurses are of the highest standard. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else!

I’d like to say a huge thank-you to Laura Woodward and her team at Belsize Park for their amazing work getting little Hank back on his feet after a nasty fracture. His care has been of the highest quality. He’s been nursed with utmost compassion. You simply couldn’t ask for a better place to entrust your pets. Our cats will be clients for life.

I brought my rabbit here for the second time last week and it's a really great vet. The care was excellent and she has made a full recovery. The vets were incredibly helpful and very understanding. Would absolutely recommend.

My dog had a dental this week under general anaesthetic with Dr Kidman. She was lovingly taken care of by the nurses and Dr Kidman did an x-ray to ensure everything is clear. He showed me the images and we went over everything together, they kept me updated with everything so I didn't have to worry for a moment! My girl recovered amazingly and was able to run home when we left, her teeth are sparkly white now!

Very Good vets. Yes they are expensive but any responsible owner should have their pet insured.
We care about our pets and want the best care.
So far this is the best we have found and we have been to quite a few..
Our cats are posh cats and go to a private practice in Hampstead don't you know!

I do work here, but brought my dog from Somerset this week to see the Vets here, as I trust them to do the best for my fur baby. Everyone was great, felt like my dog was in the best hands and definitely will be coming back!

My son phoned me from London about his dog,Bosun. Very worried. He lives on a narrowboat and has a bad shoulder,in a sling,His dog was in distress so I phoned from York and they arranged a pet ambulance and two vets to go to him. Not cheap, but on a Sunday with World Cup football and Wimbledon Finals on they did a marvellous job. On his dog and also calmed my son down. He said "they were brilliant". Thanks from York on my behalf and my sons behalf. Great job. Well done. 10 out of 10.You know who you are. Thanks again.Dog doing OK.

I have two cats who are patients of the Village Vet in Little Venice.
Over the Christmas period one of my cats fell ill. My regular practice closed at 1.00pm on 24th December so I phoned the Village Vet in Belsize Park which is a a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year facility. I was given a priority appointment in the early afternoon of Christmas Eve. The vet, Dr Tim Richardson, was extremely professional and discussed with me in detail the ailments my cat could be suffering from. Although I was very upset Dr Richardson reassured me.
Dr Richardson is a credit to the Village Vet in Belsize Park.

While they fixed my beloved dog (she had a pyometra, a dangerous infection of the uterus) & did an emergency spaying operation on the night I brought her in it certainly wasnt inexpensive. She needed an overnight stay, & they did blood tests, an ultrasound, a histopathology of the uterus & of course the spaying itself. It was approximately £2,000, so I would strongly suggest that if you have a female dog you have her spayed or get insurance. This is an excellent clinic though.

I have moved from a different branch of Village Vet over to Hampstead specifically to see Crina Dragu who is currently treating my sickly cat as well as vaccinating my other very healthy cat with the upmost care and respect. I would highly recommend this practice.

Tuesday 23rd August (around 2pm) IF YOU READ THIS YOU DID A GOOD JOB 10/10. I had lost my Budgie 2 weeks ago, someone had found it yesterday night and had given it to the vet this morning. I called them if I can come see it, and they told me to bring my picture of my pet budgie which was gone missing.
When I got there they told me to wait a couple mins (no more then 5 Min) and I was called upstairs to see the bird and indeed it was my bird! RuRu!!!! I am so happy.
The lady vet lady let me check it and play with him for a couple mins and she was really relaxed and happy lady, made the whole experience that much more relaxing and better! I believe the ladies name was Sarah? Very good job! Would recommend this place to everyone!
All the staff were good and happy. The atmosphere was relaxing much different than a hospital.
Keep up the work!

When my dear cat Nigel suddenly became very unwell, I took him to the surgery and they took my concerns very seriously and acted in a timely fashion. My worried mind was put at ease, and thankfully he made a full recovery thanks to their quick actions. I am very grateful to the team. Thank you for saving Nigel.

I called up on a Sunday evening around half 8 and lovely lady picked up my call, I want say Georgia/Georgina answered my call? (sorry I was pretty distressed about my cat, a little frantic). My cat had a lump on her belly that appeared to being a discomfort and not only was my call answered by someone who instantly calmed me but who actually cared. I felt a bit embarrassed even more when I took her to the vet she was A-okay and it was no biggy. My call was handled so professionally, I read some of the reviews but didn't let that discourage me (in fact I was even shocked at how short the wait time appeared, I wouldn't mind waiting hours though as I imagine its a pretty veterinary service and amazing that you offer 24/7 care which such compassion). Georgia/Georgina explained the fee's, asked me a few questions about Mr. Burns and actually listened to me, I have never received this kind of experience from my past practice which is in South East London as we moved not that long ago even on a number of visits. Usually the calls I have had in the past are rushed, there is no real interest and the fact that you offer that kind of care even on a Sunday eve, incredible. If I was in an emergency situation I wouldn't hesitate to bring my cat here!

Our vet Tim was extremely friendly and helpful when we brought our dog in due to him eating a tennis ball. Tim was very reassuring and empthatheic. He asessed Rusko and had him admitted to the hospital for treatment. We were kept informed throughout the entire situation and Rusko was returned to us in excellent health. I can't thank the team at village vet enough for all their help.

After my own vet in East London said they'd done all they could for me, my owner took me to Village Vets in Hampstead - she'd spoken to them previously and got a good feeling!
I was seriously ill. I have diabetes which my vet hadn't managed to control and I had developed Ketoacidosis, a life threatening condition. My body had basically malfunctioned and was being rapidly poisoned, I was in a state of collapse, unable to eat, I felt dreadful!!
After a couple of days of there expert care all those poisonous ketones were flushed out of my system, all my electrolytes balanced and my diabetes under control. I feel better than I have done in months!!!
Oh and I forgot to mention the cuddles, I got lots and lots of those, they also gave my owner great advice for managing my diabetes including a great new diet which is full of the nutrients I needs.
Thank you so much Village Vets, you saved my life and I cannot thank you enough 🐾

Dr. Crina Dragu has given me great advice about my cat and dog. She is very friendly and professional. She took her time to find out what was wrong and asked a lot of questions to come to the right diagnosis. Very happy with a doctor such as Dr. Crina Dragu.

We had to rush our beautiful beagle (Chiqui) to village vet hampstead on a Saturday evening with a severe case of HGE, where she was taken immediate and emergency care of.
She was looked after for three days, and we were given constant phone updates by the vets there, with special thanks to Anya and Simon, alongside the wonderful team working at reception.
We highly recommend this vet to anyone, however big or small your situation may be.

I followed Dr Crina from my old practice because she is so amazing at what she does. I highly recommend seeing her, I personally know of 2 other clients that also followed her to Village Vet Hampstead - best animal doctor ever.

Jonas is an excellent, caring vet. I would give 5 stars, but several of the reception staff are in need further customer care training (some are lovely and helpful, whereas others are rude and dismissive).

I have been to many vets over the 11 years life of my dog Bailey. I can safely say that the Head Veterinary Surgeon Sheldon Bunting is not only exceptionally knowledgable and contentious. He is meticulous with detail and delicate with handling. I Highly recommend this extremely intelligent man & (practice). (1 day post highly invasive treatment - Very Happy Doggo!)

Just wanted to say thank you to Anya who gave my dog her annual jabs yesterday. Anya was new to my dog, who has a bit of a reputation for being fearful, untrusting and snappy and I was delighted to say her lovely gentle tone and approach made her feel very comfortable and I believe they even became friends before the end of the consultaion. Thank you Anya.

My dog injured her leg so we took her to Village Vet during the whole (Corona Virus Period) The service from the reception team all the way through to the vets were first class and i dont have anything but good words to say about them, The reception team even helps comfort and look after my dog because she was nervous going to a vet, Would HIGHLY recommend Village Vet Hampstead.

Friendly and helpful late hours service, the vet carefully read all the emails from my usual vet to give my cat the best care. Out of hours prices are very expensive, but this is my only negative feeling about this practice.

We arrived with a very sick cat who is now with us again and very much on the mend. The care and concern at the vet hospital was fantastic and the frequent updates and explanations extremely helpful and appreciated.

We took my very poorly cat Angel in just before Xmas as an emergency, the receptionists were so nice and asked if I wanted them to call the nurse to check on her or was I ok to wait for the vet.Sadly Angel grew her wings that day but she was treated with kindness and love and the vets made it as easy as possible for us x I would highly recommend village vets x Thank you
