I work next door to here presently. Staff are really friendly and caring to the animals. Sometimes I forget it's there and then you hear a vocal horse being loaded or unloaded.

My usual vet didn’t bother to ring me back. Registered with Newnham Court, and they were there the next day. Better fees than my former vet, nicer people, better service. Phone calls returned, problems solved. I’m staying with this vet service!

I don't usually post notes like this but on this occasion I want to share my recent experience. Sadly I had to have my horse put to sleep and I was not really prepared for it. However Pippa, the vet, can out to me and was the most kindest, considerate and thoughtful person I could have had with me at what was a devastating time. She understood my distress and gave me time and space and thought of everything to make it as easy as possible. I can't thank Pippa enough. Thank you.

My 13hh 38 year old pony was euthanised today - a Sunday morning - as she was unable to stand. Although the response time was fast and the young vet was compassionate, the process caused considerable discomfort to my little old mare and took over 25 minutes to complete. The local anaesthetic seemed to have no effect, the catheeter came out of the vein and insufficient somulose was administered. Eventually the mare passed. The bill was an astonishing £528.69 inc VAT. I have 3 other ponies and will be moving vet.

I really like this practice, they are lovely and friendly when you call and treat you like a normal human being (unlike another practice) wont name any names! the vets are great and really friendly - would definitely recommend, only thing is they dont accept certain insurance companies.. which is a shame but I guess that isnt their fault.
