Irlam Animal Clinic looked after an underweight hedgehog over the winter after we rescued him. They were good on the phone and seemed very caring both over the phone and when we went to collect the hedgehog to return him to our garden this spring. Not very responsive to email, though, so I would advise calling instead of emailing. Can't comment on how they are with treating domestic animals as they aren't our usual vets.

My grandparents dog was attacked by another dog recently and with most vets not open / refusing to look at the dog due to Covid. Someone recommended Irlam Animal Clinic when my grandparents arrived the vet advised that they would be closing in half an hour however they would do what they could, they worked at least 4 and half hours more and I have no doubt they saved my grandparents dogs life. Thank you so much Irlam Animal Clinic!

We have recently taken our pet called Oscar (cat) to the surgery and it was good service with friendly staff. However it missed out on a perfect five due to the treatment of our previous cat as once again customer service attitudes were not good especially after it was put down. However they did apologise for this and we can understand that it can be a very stressful job to do.

I had to have small operation and dental done for my dog, The staff there were great they are very helpful, polite and caring, and they did a brilliant job on my dogs teeth. Definitely would recommend to anyone with animals.

I took my cat Heinz in to get an operation and chipped I felt lost without him but I usually take him to Pdsa but my friend recommended Irlam Animal clinic so I called them took him in for a check up to see if fit for his op and the staff are very professional and very reliable and I will be recommending them if anyone who needs a vet anyway he had his op yesterday and came home tea time he's been amazing in his recovery ❤️ 😘 so proud of the animal clinic for doing an amazing work thank u so much

Brilliant vet, Rebecca goes above and beyond her duty of care to all her animals. Every vet that is employed there also care to the very highest of standards and treat the animals they care for lovingly. The staff who work there are all amazing, kind and really engage with clients. Highly recommend. Only vet I'd ever choose. Absolutely brilliant!!!

I took my kitten to irlam animal clinic for her first injections. It's a bit different than a usual vet appointment due to covid however the staff at the vets were complying to PPE and social distancing measures yet it still felt like a safe and friendly environment

All the staff are absolutely amazing. They are all so friendly and approachable.always have a natter they are so laid back but also at the same time very very professional and amazing in their job rolls. I had to take my little miniature cross breed shitzu and toypoodle Layla. Who suffered a really bad eye injury resulting in emergency surgery to save the eye. Every single member of staff at this vet practice have been so understandable and caring as well as working their magic and constant checkups for after care. They don't leave any aspect of your pets problems without full discussion with you and if you are unsure of anything then they will explain anything that you are unsure of in full capacity. I cannot recommend this vets practice enough to any one, they are all absolutely amazing both with our pets and their owners.if I could rate more than 5 stars then I would . Brilliant vets. I started taking my rabbits to this vets a couple of years ago now. I originally used a different vets in the area which I was happy with but I chose to try Irlam Animal Clinic when my young rescue rabbit needed neutering as the prices were coming up lower than my usual vets. After meeting the vets there and seeing how they handled my rabbit I decided to stay there. So I now take both my rabbits for their yearly vaccinations (both Nobivac & Filavac). I would definitely recommend Irlam Animal Clinic to anyone looking for a Rabbit Savy Vets. The only down side is the waiting area it's very small so not great for rabbits if there's a couple of dogs waiting but staff have always tried to get us in and out quickly so stress to my bunnies has always been minimal.

The team have looked after my dog Jack for the last couple of years and sadly he had to go to sleep, he was an old man and had become poorly. We were treated with care and compassion at all times.
