Absolutely brilliant!! Simon constable vets have looked after many of my horses over the last 20 odd years!! Only ever had one problem which was their jabs were due at beginning of lock down and they ended up going over but I received my first jabs for free and really it was nobody’s fault!! Vets have good bedside manners and prices are fair I wouldn’t use anyone else.

I have dealt with Chris on two occasions now and has been absolutely fantastic! His care, attention and patience with the horses is 5*. No question is silly and the best interest of the horse is always at heart.

Superb vets, over the years they have dealt with and treated five of our horses and ponies with a variety of issues from routine check ups to life threatening issues. They always give as much care and support to the small family pony as they do the high priced competition horses. I rarely give recommendations as I don't want any coming back on me but I recommend this practice to everyone.

Imagine having a vet who didn't listen and wouldn't investigate issues. One who kept coming out but was almost mocking us when we said she was struggling to turn and kept going lame. That is the issue we faced several years ago with our mare and another vet. After numerous wasted visits, in desperation we decided to change vets. We called Simon Constables and have never looked back. Simon himself came out and listened to me explaining that she was struggling to turn, he x-rayed her and found the issue quickly. Finally we had an answer and a plan and she quickly returned to work with no lasting damage. We have unfortunately had the need for a vet many times over the years due to colic issues etc but have always felt that we were listened to, after all we know our horses better than anyone and the vets at simons practice know that. We have had a very poorly gelding for around 3 months and he's taken a serious turn for the worse more recently. Today we had to have him put to sleep which we were not looking forward to. The vets have tried everything but he was just too poorly. Simon came out today, he knows our horse (despite having countless patients he remembers us and him and that means a lot, we are not just a number here) Simon as always listened first, then explained the whole thing so that we were clear what would happen and when. He took time to ask if we were ok and if we needed time with our beloved horse before he began. we didn't feel rushed and whilst it was a truly awful thing to have to have happen, the service/care was wonderful as always and made us feel more relaxed than we expected to feel and reassured that our horse wouldn't be in any pain. Thank you to all of you who have dealt with my mum and I over the years, we are very grateful and recommend you to anyone and everyone.

Where do I start..? This practice is just outstanding 😊 From the Vets right down to the the receptionist. I couldn’t recommend or entrust anyone better with my beloved horses.
