Our Pip (JRT) is very wary of people touching her paws, ears and stomach, but for Neil she quite happily will lay on her back and let him examine away. You can trust a pets judgement of people, and she trusts them completely!

I was highly recommended to take my puppy to this veterinary practice and I have to say he didn’t disappoint! What an amazing vet! I loved his humour, his down to earth personality and more importantly his love of animals. He gave me the confidence to be able to ask ‘stupid questions’ as I’m living with a puppy for the first time and trying to wing it! He has the ability to keep the pet and the owner calm. Great vets for small animals and have cared for my daughters guniea pigs really well, vet is excellent with keeping you updated on procedures and they give good aftercare too, nice to know as some vets won't look at rodents etc and in the past other vets have poorly prescribed medicines that were ineffective to treat a polyp that needed removing. Caring and friendly team all round and they've certainly kept my daughters guniea pigs safe and healthy as they get older.

Neil and the staff are amazing! On numerous occasions Neil has saved us a fortune and his experience is priceless, our dog is extremely clumsy and we often have visits to Metro vets and Neil has always been right with his diagnostics... i wouldn't go anywhere else!

Took my 9 year old GSD here just before he needed an operation, We had a poor experience at another vetinary practice who man handled him and was nervous around him. Making any visit a stressful experience and for an older dog this was not good. Neil was brilliant, what a lovely man and a genuine animal lover, he was patient and met with my dog before the operation, listened to my account of our previous experience and was sympathetic. Harley now loves his new vet and is relaxed when he goes there, the operation went well, very good value for money and no hidden costs unlike like my last vets. What he quoted was what I paid. Nice friendly reception staff, clean and tidy entrance and a spacious waiting area, and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend, we travel 30 minutes to get there but it is worth the drive.

Moving to Neil practice was the best move for my dogs. Down to earth staff and vets who know their stuff. Very compassionate ladies and Neil even took time to speak with me and reassure me after my dog had passed away at home and was being brought in for cremation, the condolence card we received from them was much appreciated. I have taken my Golden retrievers to Metro vets since it opened and have never had a better vet or staff look after my dogs. They are kind and caring and are genuinely interested in you and your pet and really care. The staff are excellent nothing is a problem and they always have a cuddle for all the animals. The vet really cares for his patients and is so patient with them they are not frightened or scared. I would not take my dog to any other practice than Metrovets.

Amazing vets! All the staff were so comforting when my family and I had to get our family dog of 15 years put to sleep, it is one of the hardest things we have had to do, yet the staff made us know that it is the best thing to do at his age and and did tell us with his problems we were doing the right thing. Amazing vets and we have been telling everyone. Couldn't recommend this place more, and also to receive a simpathy card for our loss made us feel like they really do care about the animals and families who come in with difficult decisions to make. I took my two kittens to Metrovets after a bad experience with Vets at Home which led to Satski being admitted into Blythman & Partners. She pulled through after 4 days in the clinic but she still wasn't 100% and so we took her to see Neil. He examined her and in just 2 minutes went through a checklist and gave Satski the medicine she needed, after 24hrs she was eating and playing and full of energy. Fully recovered and now a healthy 7 month old kitty. Can't recommend them enough they certainly know what they are doing

If I could give Metrovets 10 stars, I really would. Neil is an amazing vet and you can see he genuinely cares about each and every animal that walks through the door. I have two cats which are both registered at Metrovets, however my eldest one (nearly 16) is also registered at Kingston Park Vets4Pets for one of his conditions as he is still covered by the Cat Protection. Whenever I take him to see Neil for his kidney failure, he always asks how he is coping with the hyperthyroidism and arthritis. He always asks how my other cat is doing too. I highly recommend Metrovets to everyone I know who has a pet, Neil is literally the best vet and all the staff there are just amazing!
