We had to take my cat to Northampton Vets Now last night aa he had some potentially serious symptoms. It’s a bit tricky to find but the lovely receptionist stood out in the snow to help guide us in. Woody was seen straight away - we had to wait in reception-during the consultation but we were introduced to the vet and had chance to tell her about his symptoms. She popped out to give us an update very quickly but in the meantime the reception lady chatted with me which helped keep me calm. Luckily it seems as though It wasn’t anything too serious but I was given information and choices about his treatment at every stage. They even gave him a little mini spa due to the nature of his problem 😬.
It was a long journey for us but the team could not have been kinder. Yes it’s expensive but it was out of hours, we were told the price of the consultation when we rang & i was just so grateful to have somewhere to take him. Thank you all of you. He’s been snoozing & playing today and seems to be recovering very well.

We would like to pass on a thanks to the amazing vets and reception staff in our cats (Luna) time of need. It didn’t end as we would have liked but their skill, time and kindness made it all worth it. They were their with our cat Luna until the end and picked up on something our day vets did not. For that. We will always be thankful. The staff were also very kind when we could barely string a sentence together.
We would love to somehow make a donation so that if any other animals need urgent care and they do not have the money, they could hopefully use our donation. Please let us know if that is possible?
Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful nurses and vets, but how they can charge £540 for an overnight stay is beholden to me. We was charged £260 for a consultation, our consultation was in the waiting area, the vets nurse took our dog, the vet explained how they were going to care for her overnight. Please can I add she had her X-rays and began her drip and pain medication with our regular vet in the day before being transferred to the over night care. She was going to be assessed by the specialist the following day. We were lucky we could find the money to pay, what about families that are struggling with their beloved pets either become I’ll or have an accident as our dog did.

Responsive. Able to get advice from the Vet over the `phone immediately and whenever needed thereafter was very helpful. Vet Jess and Animal Care Assistant, Charlie, treated our little dog Kitty with kindness. Treatment was effective.
Cost was high but due to our financial circumstances eg. Retirement income, payment over 28 days was arranged.

First class out of hours care for unwell dog. Vet kept us informed of the process and progress in helping our dog. Emma the receptionist was fantastic, supportive & very caring. She also makes excellent tea!

Thank goodness for this service. George our labrador had an unfortunate accident and gashed his rear upper right thigh which required a GA and stiches. Antibiotics and pain killers. The estimate was around £2700. We nearly fell over at the cost. It was eventually £1400 for the very minor operation. So beware. Vetenary costs are massive. GET INSURED WITH A REPUTABLE INSURER LIKE PET PLAN and others.

It turned out to be only a minor a problem on a Saturday, but with any blood in the wrong place on a cat you worry. The staff were all very kind, supportive & reassuring, couldn't have asked for better support, thank you.

It's very difficult to put into words how grateful I am for the service provided on Sunday morning . My dog had been involved with barbed wire earlier in the week. Sadly the first stitches came undone and so emergency surgery was required. The team could have not done a better job .... keeping me informed and reassuring me too in a very stressful situation. My heartfelt thanks to them. Could not recommend more highly.

Today my beautiful tabby cat Bailey had to be put to sleep! The staff were absolutely incredible and were beyond supportive and made the whole situation so much easier! Thank you, me and my little girl saying goodbye meant the world to us.

Unfortunately my dog was hit by a car and died immediately after. It was on a Sunday afternoon when most vets are closed. My friend called this vets to ask for advice and within 15 minutes we were there being helped by the staff. They took my dog in right away and helped to make him presentable for us to say our goodbyes. This dog was very special to me and my family, so the goodbyes were difficult. The staff at this vets let me have my privacy with him, and not once did they rush me to leave, etc. The experience I had with this vets made this tragic accident a lot less difficult to deal with. They helped me with my options, let each of our family members say goodbye (one by one of course) and expressed genuine compassion for us. They were able to provide such a caring and professional service which was fully safe and socially distanced and it really did help me to say goodbye properly. Thank you to all involved, without you guys, I would be much worse for wear. Keep being the amazing people that you are!

The Vets Now team have been brilliant on all of occasions that we have had to use them. The last time was the most difficult, but they were so kind and understanding when we had say our final goodbye to Riley. Their professionalism and empathy made a very heart wrenching situation just a little bit easier.

Very sadly, I had to take my beautiful dog to the out of hours vet and it became apparent that she needed to be put to sleep. Stella, I think she is the receptionist and the vet, a really lovely black man, I'm afraid I don't know his name, were so compassionate and kind. The vet talked me through all the options and was respectful and sensitive. They offered me as much time as I wanted with Jazzy, my dog, before and after she had been put to sleep. I was not rushed and they checked on me to make sure I was ok and that I could get home ok. Brilliant service at a very difficult time. The price was high and I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't had the money available but the people who dealt with me were all so lovely. Thank you.

Saw my dog at short notice which was good. My vets couldn't fit us in due to 2 emergencies at 6pm. But I felt charges were extremely expensive I agreed to the emergency initial normal vet fee of £55.50 plus £130.00 on top as it was an emergency. The overall bill came to over £316 which I felt expensive as my dog had what looked like insect bites on her nose. I will pay anything for my dog but I thought this was a little over priced. Also they got my address wrong. My usual vet allows 1 person in with the animal with usual PPE but this was not allowed, which I accept due to Covid regulations but it did make my dog a little anxious when I had to hand her over. Could not fault the service and would recommend using them in an emergency.

Our dog Casper was seen very quickly by the emergency vet and dealt with swiftly and smoothly. We are very appreciative for the care he received and the friendliness of the vet. Thank you!

I would like to thank this Vets team, especially Modou and Stella, for their excellent support, advice and brilliant communication. They reassured me that they were on hand all throughout the night and were there if I needed them whilst I was monitoring my poorly dog who was recovering from a severe allergic reaction earlier in the morning.
Stella was extremely professional, caring and very reassuring to me on the phone and fully advised me of all costs and texted me their contact information, sat nav post code and the terms and conditions policy document (all sent by a text message) so I felt fully reassured and informed of all costs and procedures with the Covid measures that were in place. I felt very supported and was fully prepared to know what to do if my dog’s condition did deteriorate quickly again. In this time with Covid and the importance of social distancing and having a dog who is extremely nervous and stressed out by visiting the vets this remote communication was really invaluable to me.
In my experience this team are extremely thorough, caring and compassionate and have definitely proved to me that they put the needs of animals above everything else, their love of animals, professionalism and excellent communication was definitely demonstrated to me. Thank you all so very much for your brilliant support.

The quality of service dispite on the lock down condition is outstanding, I would say even best, what I have met. The veterinary has real professionals. We are happy to have not far away in 20 miles away such emergency service. Thank you to all staff for you support and help in such difficult times.

We have had excellent support and service from Vets Now. They really care for your pet and are extremely knowledgeable. We were mis diagnosed by our vet but Vets Now knew immediately what was wrong. Thank you and whilst we still lost Mits, we are thankful for the caring attitude of Vets Now

My dog has been here several times throughout his life. The staff are always very helpful, and very patient with my dog also. My dog hates the vets usually and will not go in, but the staff here make extra effort to make it as pleasant an experience as it can be. Can not recommend enough.

Excellent response to our pets issues when we telephoned, we're very concerned and wanted to assist us in our pets health.
We're able to arrange an appointment very quickly taking into account the distance we were from the emergency clinic.
Explained the arrival at the clinic procedures in relation to the present Corona issues, and carried these well.
Csre for our pet was excellent, gave feed back to us on the mobile whilst we waited in the carpark, and carried out great care and vetinary process they said they would.
Although we felt the consultation fee was a little steep, you can't put a price on the little Guinea Pigs health that we were dealing with.
Overall, great staff, professional, did what they said they would to a good outcome for our little Guinea Pig - Crumpet.... Thank you.

Had to take our dog out of hours as she died following her neutering operation which was performed locally by another vet.
Unfortunately she passed prior to arriving at vets now Northampton, who were not only very professional, but also extremely simpathetic and reassuring.
They arranged her cremation, and were again very sympathetic when collecting her ashes.
I will be registering at them when we get another dog. Thank you.

My dog had to come to that time in life where she needed to be pts. It was a Sunday so required out of hours. They said to come straight away no app time given. We had to wait around an hour in the car. Would have preferred to wait at home and come at a specified time. Due to Covid we were not allowed to accompany her whilst she was assessed. Our own vets allow the customer in. She was petrified. They did agree it was time and we were allowed to be with her but outside as more than one of us. She was very scared due to being on a trolley. However i did get to hold her during the procedure. The vet was very kind and professional and it was soon over. I really think in these circumstances owners should be allowed in.

After being brutally attacked by a Staffordshire bull terrier on the afternoon of New Years eve, vets now in Northempton were amazing with out darling Jack russel terrier - Pippa. They were ready for us upon arrival. The vet we saw was very reassuring and calming, whilst still being completely honest and professional (other vets we had spoken to prior to heading to Northampton seemed far more interested in getting home than actually caring for my highly injured and bloody dog). After leaving her for surgery and an overnight stay I was contacted within a few hours to update me and clarify all that had been done. I was then given regular phonecall updates about my dogs progress. As a very protective owner I knew she was in amazing hands and that was so reassuring for me. When we arrived to collect our dog, the Nurse that was there explained everything to us. She made very clear what had happened and what to expect for the recovery process. THANK YOU vets now for saving our baby yesterday. We will be forever grateful.

Vets now were very helpful in arranging an emergency appointment for my Rabbit Flossie- sadly he had to be put to sleep and due to Covid I couldn’t be there when this happened, but the staff I spoke to remotely were very kind and helpful. The only thing I would say is that I didn’t receive an invoice from the practice although they took my details for this purpose. Flossie’s name was also spelt incorrectly on the condolence card we received, but again I appreciate that not taking details face to face due to Covid is more likely to cause this sort of issue and is somewhat unavoidable, and the card was still a lovely gesture giving me some closure. Thank you to the team for caring for Flossie in his final hours.

The triage nurse (receptionist) and vet we had a consultation with were very thorough and professional, however another member of staff (not sure of her profession) was talking out loud about a phone call she'd received from another concerned pet owner, saying something like ' she's not even registered here'
This is very unprofessional and not what you want to hear when you're sat in the waiting room with your poorly pet.
She also interrupted when I was having a conversation with the nurse, settling the bill.
Very rude!

The vets here were so kind and respectful. At 1am our poor old dog had, had enough and it was time to say goodbye. The ladies here made a difficult situation tolerable.

They were absolutely brilliant, very caring, nothing too much trouble, even sent a condolence card, even though not our usual vets as out of hours emergency. Can't recommend them enough

I am reg with two Vets in Davantry .
So was highly upset !
Then phoned again in the morning a very nice man did not query this at all .
Then I got a phone call to ask who I was going to .! I mentioned my booking etc .
Then I told her I am reg .I do not understand this the lady in the car was new to this area and was not asked about her vet . We are all very highly stressed at the moment , especially when your pet is as well ..

Very very good vets, unfortunately our dog had come to end of his life and we had to take him to vets now, they are very professional and also very good with you at this time, we was never rushed and was given as much time as we wanted with him before the deed was done, received a beautiful gift and condolence card sent through the post afterwards also. Top class service.

Vets Now were fantastic when our cat Loki started to haemorrhage in the late evening. They were very calm and reassuring over the phone. When we arrived at the vets at about 9.30 at night, the young vet (a very professional, honest and caring lady - sorry I can’t remember your name) explained everything to us carefully, honestly and with compassion. She answered all of our questions taking time to explain everything. Loki, was very calm with her and remained that way. She gave us time and support to come to terms with the fact that Loki wasn’t going to get better and that we had to consider his quality of life and putting him to sleep. Thank you so much - you made a very emotional situation a bit more bearable and thanks too for the card you sent with the lovely Forget-me-not seeds. We will always remember your kindness.

Our dog had gastroenteritis, which required intravenous drip, done at our vets during opening hours Vets Now overnight. Good service, pleasant staff. Would recommend in an emergency.

I can’t put into words my gratitude at being able to hear a voice at the end of the phone in the middle of the night when our treasured pet was poorly. Then the special card he received on Christmas Eve to get him home for Christmas was exceptional. Forever grateful x
