Love everyone at Ashcroft Vets, my dog has been coming for a while now since he was a Puppy and they all treat him wonderful. I called and spoke to Abby this morning and she talked me through putting my baby through getting his surgery and really eased my mind. Very friendly and down to earth service, we had a laugh together! Having that when you make such a nerve racking phone call is amazing. She couldn’t do enough for me even when it sounded very busy in the background. Thanks again! Still nervous for my boys surgery but I’m just a worried fur Mum! 😂 Can’t recommend this vets enough. Very friendly, welcoming, warm place. Wouldn’t go anywhere else with my animals.

We were visiting the area on holiday and our dog's health suddenly deteriorated. Ashcroft were amazing and looked after her so well. We are so grateful for how lovely everyone was in such an anxious time.

I have used ashcroft vets for 15 years . I have an elderly dog ,14 , he's been seen here since a puppy. He has metacam medication and as such has 6 monthly checks . The vet ,Alison , noted he had a swelling on his testicle, which I had not noticed . I was given all options and possible complications in a thorough caring manner , no pressure just facts . After having a castration,which he recovered from so well, it was discovered he had 2 tumours ! I can't thank Alison enough for her thoroughness , and the fact that she had obviously read his notes prior to appointment and the fact that as I saw myself , detailed notes on each of his previous appointment which were referred back to . He is now tumour free and his happy bouncy self , thank you ashcrofts .

This practice is great. I have been going to this vets for 14 years they have always been so kind and caring. I had to have my cat bailey put to sleep yesterday I was heartbroken but the vets were amazing treated my cat very well they let me spend time with him. Thanks for looking after him and me. Taking pets to the vets can be so stressful but Ashcroft makes it a positive experience every single time. From the reception team to the vet staff it's always a pleasant experience and I'm sure our cats actually love being fussed over. Even through the lockdowns they've been fantastic!

Our Babygirl Winnie was really poorly and we were really worried about her so took her to Ashcroft to be checked over. We were seen by Alex the vet and he was lovely and really calming with her and put us at ease. She had a scan and we discovered she had a mass in her stomach. We were devastated but Alex explained all of the options and how we could proceed. He was kind and patient and made sure we knew and understood it all. We decided to take her to the emergency vets because it was the Thursday night before the bank holiday and although they would've been able to do the operation at Ashcroft he wanted her to be monitored properly all night and there was no one to do that. He was brilliant and so caring. He asked us to.let him know how she got on as well. She had the operation that night and stayed in until the afternoon.. I have to mention that Chestergates were amazing as well.. kept us informed and looked after Winnie really well.. explained the procedure properly and again put us at ease.. and took time to do that even though they were busy. I am happy to say that we got the results back from the mass.. it was the size of a fist! But fortunately not Cancer! To say we are relieved is an understatement. The whole experience would of been twice as hard if Ashcroft hadn't been there to help with our questions and to offer excellent care and amazing service.. all the staff there.. the receptionists, vets.. all of them. They are a credit to the practice and the profession. And Alex is awesome.. Winnie is a little in love haha. We would recommend then 100% amazing vets. This is not the first time we have had an emergency with one of our babies and they have always been brilliant. THANK YOU! XX

This is a great local veterinary surgery which my family has used for the last thirty plus years. Recent trips have been for annual vaccinations for my cat but we have used them for surgical procedures in the past too and have always been very happy with the care provided.

Excellent surgery who always do their best to get you an appointment when needed - even as a last minute emergency one! Friendly reception staff and excellent informative and caring treatments and advice by the vets for our two older cars. The 15yr old has the Health Care plan but our 22yr old is frail and not well, vet was very understanding and caring with advice. Prices are average but no care is given without you being informed of choices and costs.

We sadly had to have our cat Stella put to sleep this week. I can't tell you how kind they were. So gentle and calm with the animals. A serene and peaceful environment. Reception staff were welcoming every time we went. I can't remember the name of the vet who looked after us but hope she recognises herself from this review. She was lovely.

I visited Ashcroft veterinary surgery in Frodsham today. My dog Tilley was due for her boosters. She is a member of their pet club. I get text messages to remind me when to worm her, deflea her and to take her for her boosters all of this is included in the pet club so no extra to pay. The vet Alison Baker was excellent she was very friendly with Tilley and explained everything she was doing. I have been coming to this vets for many years and they have always been brilliant with all my pets. I would highly recommend this Veterinary Surgery to anyone.

Not sure, ended up with antibiotics for my dogs skin condition (small oily scabs that hurt him and leave hairless spots when they drop off... Had them once before but cleared after 8 days. This time they were more prominent and hadn't gone in 2 weeks) vet didn't get skin scrape or samples, didn't name the condition... Just prescribed an antibiotic... Could be the right thing, but just not convinced.
