Have a lot of appreciation for how timely the job opportunities came about, was just what I needed. Also, I always value a strong communication culture which Zen have demonstrated well, in addition to being impeccably well organised in synchronising comms: including notifications and reminders at all levels. Rapid responses and actioning or queries and requests. Sometimes, this can be a little too in your face but strong, all the same. Happy to have been well matched, at my first placement with them. Very supportive and professional team. Very happy!

I been working closely with zen since the ending of the national lockdown and Mentally got support from the workers especially from Becky, she always picks up my calls and helps when I need it. she always calls to let me know when there's role around my area. the only downside is the cut from the money from umbrella company which is a big chuck from the weekly payment which is a shame.

I've registered with Zen Educate a few months ago. I couldn't get any work with them so far, both due to the lockdown but mostly because of the lack of positions available for part-time workers. If they have so few openings in London, I wonder how difficult it is to get some work with them somewhere else. The registration process took ages, and it has been unprofessional at points. The lack of... human contact is indeed very unhelpful. And they are very slow in answering their chat questions too. So sorry, but I don't have many good things to say. *Later edit* I have worked with Zen Educate, and things are evolving positively. I was surprised to receive feedback requests via text and to observe how their communication turned out to be efficient. I think it's important to emphasize that for me, after actually getting work with them, I understood how they stand out. Firstly, their customer care is pretty good. Secondly, I talked to other staff members, and they seemed to be happy too. Last but not least, this agency is time efficient and very well organized when it comes to sending information via text, which is a huge perk for people working with other agencies and whose email inbox is a mess. Plus, they have apologized for the slow register and explained the company's difficulties such as having staff on furlough during that time.

I had a very positive experience working with Zen. I found the app easy to use and it made the admin side of supply teaching very straightforward and efficient. I was given work every day, often in advance, and the schools I was placed in were largely great. I was recommended Zen Educate by a friend who said that the application process was far simpler than that of traditional agencies. She was right! Everything is done online, and referees only have a very simple form to complete (so you don’t have to chase them up!) Everyone at Zen is extremely helpful, always wanting to know how my day’s work has gone and listening to and taking on board feedback. Zen really make you feel like you are working with them, not for them, and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to sign up with them. Although I signed up to some other supply agencies, I have only used Zen as I find them to be far more efficient and friendly. I have only recently started working for Zen but in the short time I have I have been really impressed by their professionalism and friendliness. Zen was recommended to me by a friend and I am really glad that they did. I have found the app really easy to use; it is quicker to accept bookings, confirm availability and see my confirmed work than with a ‘traditional’ agency. The information given about each school is really helpful. Each time a school books you you get a profile of the school giving you information that you may find useful and a point of contact there is needed. The process of signing up for them was easy to do but thorough and since being cleared for work I have been found work most of the time. This has been great, especially with it being so early in the year. The rates of pay from Zen are better in comparison to other agencies and the text/email I get when my wages have been paid into my account are really handy. When I have been into new schools I have always had a courtesy call to check how it has been and if it was as described to them-which it always has been. Zen prioritise getting work closer to home for me and do this as much as possible although I have been offered to do ‘guaranteed supply’ where I am promised a certain number of days work so this does sometimes mean that I do have to travel further. But, this has never been more than 1hour which is great and within my expectations/what I had been told from the outset with guaranteed supply. Everything I have been told has happened and I have never been given misinformation. The people in the office I regularly speak to are Jordan, Ollie and Jude and I have found them really friendly and helpful.

Zen Educate truly deserve five stars! Zen Educate are literally the best and I am so glad I found them!!! After joining and being disappointed with many Teaching agencies I found Zen Educate online. They are not an agency but a platform for teachers and schools to connect easily and efficiently. This means the schools are charged less and the teachers are paid more. They have an excellent online app which is well designed, easy to use and yet far better than other supply teacher apps I have used. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and always on the ball with everything from the initial online interview right down to day to day requests. They were the best at finding me consistent teaching work that suited me and on the exact days that I wanted. Some agencies just do not listen, and call you on days you have not requested, call too late in the morning or try to send you very far away from where you live. Some persisted with trying to send me to secondary schools when I had specifically requested primary supply only, which was very frustrating. That is why I highly commend the staff at Zen Educate because their personal care and their communication skills are flawless. They keep in touch on a regular basis, never leave a question unanswered and generally look after every possible need you might have before you can even think of it. That is why I give them five stars, and if I could give them a percentage it would be 100% because I am so happy with them and I would be 100% likely to recommend them to all my other teacher friends.

Zen Educate is an excellent agency. As somebody new to supply teaching, I had reservations when it came to choosing an agency. I needn't have worried with Zen Educate. Ayesha and the whole team have been excellent. Before I started, they arranged a face-to-face conversation in which they gave more information about how they work and were completely transparent about how much they charge schools, their commission and my daily rate. Signing up was incredibly straightforward and all online. Work was available immediately and after each placement I received a phone call to see how they day went and if there were any problems. I would have no hesitation in recommending Zen Educate.

Zen Educate is a teaching agency with a difference. It might be new but it is in a class of its own which other teaching agencies should emulate or aspire to be. This agency has a lot of ground breaking ideas. An example is the Zen app which is absolutely amazing. This app has helped me with organizing my time and flexibility in terms of where and when I want to work. This is the first agency that offered me a work guarantee contract without asking which helped me to sort out child care for my daughter before September. Without this support, applying for the 30 hours free childcare scheme by the government and going back to work as s supply teacher would have been impossible for me. Having worked for other education agencies, I can truly say that my experience with Zen has been great! They have many perks that many of the others don't. The online registration is very quick and easy and the subsequent contact by the team has been very friendly and non-intrusive; which is sometimes the case with some other agencies. I registered with Zen Educate following a length of time away from Education. Having worked across a number of roles in Education, I was certain of the roles I was best suited to. From the first time I contacted Zen on the phone, registration to day to day support and communication, I have experienced warmth and consistency. Rather than awaiting a call first thing in the morning for a booking, Zen’s easy to navigate app allows me to set/edit my availability in advance, view my daily rate and accept and decline bookings. A couple of things that habe really stood out for me since working with Zen is that I have never felt pressured to accept a booking. They listen to and consider my preferences and do their best to match accordingly. I’ve also had the opportunity to be placed on ‘guaranteed supply’ which takes away the uncertainty of establishing the number of days booked a week. I would highly recommend Zen Educate for a more personable experience.

As a secondary teacher in need of a change in my career after relocating to the UK, I decided to start doing supply. I quickly found Zen Educate and was soon attracted by the concept. The system of the online platform allows me to be flexible and to choose when I want to work, which is exactly what I was looking for after 12 years in a full time and permanent position. No more planning or marking, only the joy of teaching! The team is great and truly listens to you, they never try to push things. They ask very precise questions during the interview in order to understand your needs and what you feel comfortable teaching/doing. I am currently on a guaranteed supply scheme which is very interesting because I am assured that I will work on the days we agreed on and cherry on top, if they can't find me work, I still get paid. When you get booked, they give you details about the school, the dress code and other policies specific to the school which means that you always know where you are going which is less stressful. The app is very easy to use. You indicate the days you're available in your calendar, the timesheets are on the app as well and you don't get to fill them in as Zeneducate do it for you at the end of each day of work. The pay rate is rather generous and crystal clear. What I really appreciate is that when there's no work available as a teacher, they might send you as a TA but you still get paid the teacher's rate! I would really recommend Zen Educate to teachers who wish to have more flexibility and a better work/life balance.

I found this organisation had really been terrific! The whole online process was simple and effective, didn’t need me to provide loads of paperwork and were totally on board with what I was looking for, met with them in person for 20-30 after a really enjoyable video/Skype call, and this followed by a meet in person to verify documentation. The rest.. online/ on the phone. Zen educate really made negotiating with the school a breeze and secured me a long term placement with the appropriate remuneration. I am a supply teacher and I've been working through Zen Educate since May 2018. They are highly professional regarding DBS checks and have a thorough interview system. Every query that I've had has been dealt with quickly and fully. The booking system suits me very well. It is mostly by text message requests direct from the school to your phone and you have the choice to decline or accept the booking. If you use the calendar app you won't get requests for days that you know you can't work as you can update your availability via your mobile phone. You can also choose to be on guaranteed supply where you put yourself as available for a certain number of days. You must commit to these days and sometimes you have to travel a fair distance but mostly (80-90%) you will be placed as locally as possible. Schools can place information about themselves on the phone app so that I can go there knowing some expectations from the school, parking and local directions. I've been doing supply teaching in London since 2009 and I consider finding Zen Educate a bonus. They are an excellent agency to work through, are highly competitive for schools and they pay a decent wage to teachers, definitely the way forward for supply teaching.

When I moved to the UK I joined 3 other agencies before finally joining Zen Educate. I only started getting consistant work with them and now they pretty much get me all my work. A great company with very helpful, friendly and supportive staff.

Since coming across Zen and meeting the team, simply put, I’ve just had a great experience. The online platform works great and all the processes that Zen have in place to make this work smoothly are excellent. I currently work as a cover / general supply teacher and working with the team and using the online platform has just made the whole process easier.

Zen are a very friendly and accommodating agency. It was easy to join and the website is a dream to use. All the agents are very personable and they take time to answer any questions you may have. I have been doing ‘Guaranteed Supply’ and have been given suitable work where available. On the days that no work was booked, I was asked to write appropriate articles or blogs on familiar subjects. Their pay is the highest you’ll find and a no-nonsense approach to timesheets is helpful. The only downside I can see so far, is that if you are looking to do only a specific key stage, on specific days, there may not always be work for you. They will however, really try their best to find you some.
