I thoroughly recommend Kate's pregnancy yoga classes, absolutely one of my favourite parts of my pregnancy. Her classes are filled with useful information for pregnancy and birth, and the time to share experiences with each other was just lovely. I really miss the wonderful group of women and the support everyone gave each other. The yoga helped my pregnancy to be so positive, it was a really special time to connect with my body and my baby, while learning poses and breathing techniques to help with pregnancy pains and labour. My favourite part of my pregnancy journey was coming to Kate’s yoga class every Monday and tuning into my body and my baby.
I became pregnant during the pandemic and felt really excited but also quite anxious and isolated, so around week 23 I signed up to yoga feeling apprehensive that I wouldn’t be able to keep up but told myself to try it anyway..
Kate tailors her classes to cater to all abilities/needs and encourages you to listen to your body. I always felt incredible after her classes and I got through pregnancy pretty much ache and pain free (despite carrying a 10lb baby)!
I feel so incredibly lucky to have had Kate as a yoga instructor and I would really urge anyone to come along to this class, it has been absolutely magical.

I LOVED Kate’s class.
Went throughout my third trimester and as well as being the calm highlight of my week, it helped with the many discomforts of the end of pregnancy which Kate would personalise each person’s experience to help with.
There’s a focus on empowerment for birth to help prepare for all eventualities which was great for mental preparation.
My partner and I also did a 1:1 prep class with Kate at home that really got us in the zone a couple of weeks before birth and I would highly recommend.

I attended Bloom Yoga with Kate during my pregnancy and I can highly recommend her classes both in person and via zoom. Kate tailored each class to include moves to support all my aches and pains and I can honestly say after each class I would have a great nights sleep. I enjoyed the social interaction with Kate and others attending the class and it was really helpful having other mums and mums to be share there experiences and have a laugh with. As a mum herself Kate was very knowledgable and was able to provide advice and information for many other aspects of my pregnancy some from her own personal experience. When I went into labour I felt relaxed and in control and used the breathing techniques Kate had taught me to manage my contractions and pain. I am looking forward to the mum and baby meet up organised by Kate as the restrictions are lifted.

Kate is such an amazing instructor. She sets the mood perfectly and intersperses information about pregnancy and childbirth throughout the class, making it really interesting too. She tailored moves to my specific needs and really knows her stuff. Kate is the perfect balance of professional and friendly that makes you feel comfortable straight away. I went to pregnancy yoga with Kate from week 15 all the way to 39 nearly 40 weeks and it was absolutely one of the best parts of my pregnancy. The split between topic discussions, group news sharing, active yoga practice and yoga nidra was perfect for me. I always felt energised and stronger afterwards as well as learning so much about birth and postpartum. The classes always had such a lovely community feel.

I started online yoga classes with Kate just after lockdown began at 14 weeks pregnant and have been doing them ever since. Really enjoyed attending pregnancy yoga. As a first time mother it helped me to understand the changes that my body was going through at the time. Also prepared me for labour with breathing and relaxation techniques. The atmosphere was very relaxing each week which was a break from a busy working week and allowed me to dedicate some time to my growing baby. Can't recommend enough :)

I really enjoyed Bloom Yoga Bristol. Kate is really responsive with communications and always tries to accommodate any last minute changes. She is always very supportive and happy to share any knowledge and tips. I used her playlist during the birth of my baby!
Her classes are 1.5 hour long and are splitted into:
1/2 hour of pregnancy knowledge followed by hello circle
1/2 hour of yoga
1/2 hour relaxation
I really enjoyed the pregnancy knowledge where Kate selects a topic about pregnancy each week and shares it with the group. I learnt so much from it!
The hello circle is really good to get to know the other pregnant women in the class and learnt from them.
I also found the yoga exercises really good. Kate always tries to target them to the needs of the people attending the class.
I would definitely recommend this class. Not only it helped me to go through pregnancy, but also through labour thanks to the relaxation and breathing exercises.
This is a great way to connect with other mums. I also found the 5 class discount offered in the webpage really good.

These yoga classes really helped me during pregnancy, especially in lockdown, and during my labour. Kate is a great instructor who always listens to your needs, tailoring each session to help and gives practical advice to help with any pregnancy related pain and feelings. I would recommend them to any mums-to-be who are looking for a gentle exercise class which help to prepare you for labour and allow you to meet other mums in the local area. I can't recommend Kate's pregnancy yoga classes highly enough. I took part in the weekly zoom/ in person classes from week 13 of my first pregnancy through to the week before my daughter's birth.
Starting with a hello circle, Kate tailored every class to the needs of all participants putting in variations on moves where the move is not suited for all, followed by a much needed yoga nidra. She then made the class recording available to allow me to practice again in my own time.
Not only did I find the classes great physically, mentally and socially as well as being really well suited to a pregnant body as my bump grew, Kate had time for everyone and shared welcome advice to help me on my journey. I found the classes left me developing few of the normal pregnancy aches and pains and when they did occur I knew the yoga moves which would aid relief. Positions and breathing techniques learnt during the classes also ensured I was able to breath and move through the birth of my daughter and allowed me to keep my focus.
I will definitely be signing up again to this class for any future pregnancies.

I did Kate’s pregnancy yoga on zoom throughout lockdown from 16 weeks up until 39! I found it so helpful physically to help stretch and move being mindful of my pelvic pain. Kate tailored moves to everyone’s ability and niggles they were suffering from.
Mentally it was fab to check in with a group once a week, know I wasn’t alone in some of the struggles and also to take some time for me, to breathe and check in with my emotions. The yoga nidra at the end was my favourite part and I listen to the playlist often.
I also used the online recording to do the yoga between classes with my husband to practice breathing and so he could connect with our baby too. I’m so glad I did it and have a little community now I am a new mum!

The classes are such a great space to connect with other pregnant women and they worked well throughout lockdown too. Kate started each session with an update from each attendee and then tailored the class to ensure we all got the most benefit that week. And we finished every class with a divine yoga nidra.

I've been doing pregnancy yoga with Kate Bulman in Bristol since my first trimester. It has been such a huge support throughout pregnancy (and labour!) both physically and emotionally. Kate really goes the extra mile with classes, with a weekly circle where we share our thoughts and can discuss any questions that have arisen, while Kate often prepares some information on a particular topic.
The classes themselves are then tailored to our individual needs and are so energising and uplifting but also extremely relaxing. By the relaxation 'nidra' at the end I am normally in a dreamy daze.
With the outbreak of covid, Kate swiftly moved the classes online, which has worked really well, we still get social time and a lovely class, along with extra support such as an additional weekly social and whatsapp/facebook groups within the class. Kate is always ready to answer questions and provide extra info when we're not sure about something.
Kate weaves in plenty of labour preparation from birth positions to breathing techniques which were invaluable. I had a bit of a long and tricky labour due to my little one being in the wrong position and I'm not sure I'd have been able to stay calm throughout it if it wasn't for the techniques I'd learnt over the nine months!

Really enjoying Pregnancy Yoga sessions with Kate, she provides great service and prospect for mothers to share their experiences and also to gain wider insights from other moms which is so important when the womens body experiences accelerated pace of changes and needs support more than ever before. I had no experience with group sessions before, but glad I've joined, nice atmosphere, no previous knowledge required.

I have subscribed to the online pregnancy yoga and have found it so useful. I love that the session lengths and aims are tagged so that I can find a practice that will suit me.
