Calm is my absolute favorite place in Edinburgh. I started coming because I met Katy, the owner, during a meditation class, and loved her instantly. I continue coming, daily, because I am in love with the meditation and yoga classes, the workshops, the women's circles, the cacao ceremonies, the incredible massages and above all else, the open and kindhearted people who make Calm feel like home. I loved it so much I had to start teaching here. I can give fully, and feel recharged and supported by everyone around me. To say that I feel utterly lucky to have found Calm, is an immense understatement. My deepest and lifelong gratitude is extended to Katy and Ross, and everyone who walks through the Calm doors. What you have, and are creating, is pure, life altering community.

I am so happy that Katy opened up in the West End of Edinburgh. The yoga studio and classes are fantastic, the staff are warm and relaxed. I have also been going to Nerys who is based within the studio offering Aromatherapy. I honestly cannot say just how wonderful she is - what a beautiful kind human.

I've tried three classes at Calm on Canning street; yoga with Sarah-Alexandra and Helen and Barre with Katie. All three teachers have been so welcoming and warm and are all so knowledgeable. It's a long time since I've done yoga and I've left each class feeling relaxed, challenged (in a good way) and happy. Love this place!

I'm a triathlete, training for my first ironman, and was looking at adding some yoga to my training programme to help with stretching, flexibility and injury prevention. I was somewhat nervous about jumping into the world of yoga but a couple of conversations and a 1:1 session with Lee and I was really reassured. I've since started attending a regular lunchtime class and am feeling great benefits.
It's an extremely friendly and encouraging environment, really supportive and a great workout. Delighted I made the leap, and I'm very grateful to Lee for his help.

I highly recommend this yoga studio. I was pretty nervous about my first class but my friend- a seasoned pro- dragged me along. I had visions of super flexible bodies walking on their hands upside down however this was not the case. I was greeted with big warm welcomes and felt safe when I realised I wasn't the only one who was new or didn't have all the gear and no idea. I really enjoyed the class and have been a regular since . I love the fact that my friend and I can attend the same session even though we are different levels and yet still feel challenged: I've now ventured into the hot classes which are great! Thank you CSY for making my journey as a "yogi" so comfortable and enjoyable👍🏼X

Great teachers and relaxed classes, you see the impact on your body right away, nice atmosphere; the studio has yoga mats and towels available, so no need to carry your own.
