I can't speak highly enough about Shanti, having attended classes for over a year now.
The studio is warm and comfortable and the atmosphere is focussed and safe. Sasha is an amazing teacher who takes time to give you positive feedback on all aspects of your practice, and the relaxation she guides you in is just as important as the yoga itself. The monthly workshops are always a great place to deepen focus on elements to complement your practice.
Even if you feel nervous or anxious about starting yoga, Shanti is the perfect environment. A place for peacefulness.

Over the last few years Shanti Yoga has become a big part of my life, way beyond the studio. My busy job doesn't allow me to get there as often as I'd like to but the personal care and experience I receive makes me feel very much part of the family and Sasha is always on hand to answer questions or just have a chat with about anything at all. All the teachers are wonderful and the range of different classes and practice styles on offer mean there's something for everyone.
The Shanti studio is definitely one of my happy places. When I arrive I immediately feel at peace and I leave any stresses or anxieties at the door.
This year I also attended the weekend retreat at the Eco Yoga Centre. It was an absolutely wonderful, thought through and personal experience.
I would recommend Shanti Yoga to anyone wanting to try yoga - in fact I have, a few times!

I absolutely loved my experience at Shanti Yoga. Sasha is such a fantastic teacher who puts you at ease, wither you are a newbie or a more experienced Yogi. The studio is spacious and has wonderful natural light and a fantastic calming energy. Today was my first experience of a mediation class and it something I shall never forget! I can't wait for the next class. I've been practicing Yoga with Sasha for almost 3 years and I seriously cannot imagine my life without it now. Highly recommended it to anyone thinking of trying yoga for the first time.

Sasha's passion and commitment to yoga shines through in her classes. I've attended classes in person and this year online via Zoom. She offers a varied, imaginative and deep yoga practice, rooted in experience and the traditions of yoga. She makes it accessible, and offers plenty of options for those like me who are less flexible. Overall, it's been fantastic for my good mental health and physical conditioning. Lockdown would have been a lot tougher without this practice.

I am so glad I chose Shanti Yoga for my teacher training!
Sasha is a wonderful teacher, guiding you through every step with compassion and understanding. You are given so much information and support, along with being able to learn from some wonderful guest teachers, showing you lots of different perspectives and pathways within yoga. Whether you would like to be a yoga teacher or are simply seeking to deepen your practice I could not think of a better environment to take that step, you will learn so much about yoga, and yourself.

I’ve been going to Shanti Yoga on and off for a few years and cannot recommend Sasha’s classes enough! She made me feel welcome and relaxed from the first moment I walked into her studio and I always feel revived and about a foot taller after one of her classes! She explains everything clearly and offers a few different options so whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced yogi I’m sure her classes will suit you. Ive also been to the pregnancy and post-natal classes at Shanti Yoga and again I cannot fault them. In particular I thought post-natal class was a great way to meet other mums, share stories and do some gentle exercise (when I wasn’t feeding my baby). Sasha also makes a great babysitter during the relaxation when you want to shut your eyes but your baby wants to play :) I think Sasha has created the perfect place for people to recharge their batteries and I can’t wait to return to her classes soon!

I cannot recommend Shanti Yoga highly enough! I have attended classes there for nearly two years now after trying out several differnet yoga studios to find the right one. The owner, Sasha, has created not just a yoga studio but a vibrant community which makes you feel welcomed and at ease. All of the teachers are wonderful, particularly Sasha who has an incredible wealth of knowledge about yoga that is evident in her teaching.
The studio offers a wide range of yoga, workshops and levels to suit all. In classes, the teachers are mindful to give several options for each pose so that everyone is catered for so if you're new don't feel scared that you won't be able to keep up. Shanti offers something for everyone at all levels. If you're looking to start your yoga journey there would be no better place to start than shanti! I'm so glad I gave it a go as I now can't imagine yoga not being a part of my life and I feel more relaxed, flexible, strong and centred as a result.

Sasha is such a great teacher and has created a brilliant yoga studio in the heart of Glasgow's west end.
I attended a number of pregnancy yoga classes towards the end of my pregnancy, and the things that I learned really helped me when it came to the big event. The studio is such a warm and welcoming environment that made me (and my bump) feel very safe. Sasha is so knowledgeable and made sure that everyone had suitable alternatives when they had physical limitations (myself included). I learned lots of ways to keep active, relieve stress and aches, and most importantly how to use breathing to get through the early stages of labour.
Sasha has created a really great feeling of community in the classes, making sure that attendees are comfortable and sharing stories of other pregnancies and how the classes have helped the mothers.
There are a wide variety of classes in the timetable, with new ones being added regularly, and a number of workshops and events that you can attend. Even if you are completely new to yoga, Sasha and her team will make sure you are comfortable and guided through the classes, ensuring that you get the best experience possible.
I can't wait to get back to classes and share my yoga experience with my new baby and introduce him to the wonderful environment at Shanti Yoga.

I recently attended Shanti Yoga during my pregnancy for both yoga and massage and I can't recommend it enough. The pregnancy yoga classes cover a different topic each week and proved very useful during the birth! Sasha is a great teacher and the atmosphere is always very welcoming. The studio is a lovely wee haven to escape to after a stressful day : ) I am now attending yoga with baby and it is a perfect mixture of a relaxed atmosphere and a good work out. 5 stars *****

I started at Shanti yoga just over a year ago and have absolutely loved going ever since. It's the perfect place to leave all your problems at the door and really destress. Sasha, who runs Shanti and teaches most of the classes, is wonderful. She has been trained by world leading yoga masters and has therefore brought some amazing teaching practices to Glasgow. Sasha makes the effort to get to know everyone who walks through the door and is always their to offer advice or emotional support, even when she's mega busy. Also, she gives an epic massage! I couldn't recommend enough!

I first visited Shanti yoga 6 years ago (2013), and came back to it 2 years ago. I like that each teacher is able to express their own wealthy knowledge, I like that the studio is a warm and professional environment, and I like that I always feel supported.

A really great yoga studio, always a welcoming and relaxed environment with excellent yoga teachers. Great for all levels, classes are varied with some suitable for complete beginners right up to much more advanced.
I would highly recommend giving it a go!

Like the range of classes on offer. Also a wide range of teachers. You can choose which class and which teacher you prefer, according to your mood. Plenty of space across the 2 studios. I happen to be writing this review in the separate relaxation area.. Great setup all in all.

Great friendly studio with a large variety of classes to suit all. Best to book in advance, but you can also drop in if there are places. Specials offers on if you go to a lot of classes. Would highly recommend.
