M. C.Susan is an amazing spiritual yogini. If you're looking for great yoga, a patient teacher, with spiritual wisdom and rhythm, then Yama is for you. Can't recommend her too highly.
d. s.I started a beginner ashtanga yoga class with Michelle at Yama Studios in November 2021. I have been twice or three times a week since then and have been feeling in considerably better shape both physically and mentally. The space at Yama is so peaceful, calming and welcoming, that I would recommend it to anyone. You will want to go back. I would also give a wholehearted recommendation of my teacher .Michelle Nixon, who is very patient and forgiving in her instruction whist having a wealth of experience and knowledge in her field that inspires you with confidence. Comfortably FIVE stars all round.

I haven’t been for a while so Susan has been great in supporting me through with patience and understanding. She was really helpful in helping me find the right class for me. I would highly recommend Yama studios to any one.
T. G.In the Yama Sudios I have learned a lot more than Yoga and exercise. I have found friends , I have found peace and connected with others, It helped me cope in difficult situations. Susan teaches a way of thinking , a way of approaching life , not just exercises , she teaches philosophy, physical and mental. I enjoyed a lot of the different practices we have done there. She takes personal attention to everyone to explains in depth how you should do the exercises , because they might look in one way but they are done in very different way and that is really important. These classes are also a safe place where you can be yourself without any judgement . Thank you Susan and hopefully see you soon!
