Helena is a fantastic teacher and diagnostician. Despite only meeting her once in person, I signed up for her online classes during lockdown and have found them absolutely indispensable. I also had some online one-on-one sessions to begin with, in which Helena listened to my injury history and immediately identified areas of weakness and offered pragmatic and creative solutions. In turn, she is able to tailor some of the exercises in group classes to my specific needs. I find her to be an engaging, challenging and smiley teacher, who is extremely accommodating to everyone who takes her online classes, which are limited in size, meaning that no one feels overlooked, just like in a real life class. Better yet, I was able to continue with her classes when I travelled abroad. In fact, I often long for the next session to sort me out after a period of exertion (or inertia) has made me sore, tense or 'crooked': I cannot recommend her more highly!

Helena is one of best Pilates instructors I have ever had. When I returned to work after a year maternity leave, I was so pleased to find Helena was running lunch time Pilates classes in the office. The most amazing thing about Helena is her ability to correct your postures so subtly yet you feel a huge difference and you know that you are doing it correctly with her watching. I count myself lucky to have met Helena and I would recommend Helena to anyone.

I started my journey with Pilates a year ago. I began with private classes with Helena as I had no previous experience. Later on I also joined her group classes. I was suffering from lower back pain for a long time and Pilates helped me enormously, easing the pain. Now I am almost pain free and much stronger. I love Pilates, Helena is such an amazing teacher. She is highly professional, enthusiastic, supportive, a very positive energetic person. Helena is extremely knowledgeable about Pilates and is always willing to answer any question. She demonstrates and explains every exercise in detail. She corrects me, gives me attention, encourages me and appreciates my effort. Her classes are great fun and challenging at the same time, which I love. We use different equipment so classes are never the same. I would recommend Pilates with Helena to those who are looking for high standard Pilates’ classes. Thank you Helena!

I have now completed four terms of Pilates and have been so committed not to miss one session. I have to be careful as I suffer from lower back pain but always feel very safe under Helena's tuition. I am so much more aware of my body when I stand, walk or sit. Helena is an excellent teacher and does not move on to the next pose until all in the class have grasp the move absolutely correctly. I have been attending private classes with Helena for coming up to 6 months now and am over the moon with the progress I have made. I was diagnosed with a bulged disc at the end of 2015 and was recovering from the sciatica as a result of it. I started Pilates with Helena to manage the pain through improving my posture and strength. The differences and results are unbelievable, I can feel myself getting stronger and my ability to perform more advanced Pilates exercises is improving. Helena, is a great instructor that pays attention to detail to ensure the exercises are performed correctly and effectively. I have been progressing through Helena's classes for almost a year now, most recently doing two terms of her High Intensity Pilates course in Brook Green. Helena keeps her class sizes small and gives each person individual attention and corrections which means you feel you are constantly learning and developing. I can clearly see the difference it is making to my strength, fitness and posture. I've been going to Helena's classes for a year now and she is worth her weight in gold. She is so thorough and pays really close attention to detail to make sure your form is correct, much more so than other Pilates teachers I've tried. I have hypermobility and this gives me various joint problems, including back pain and doing Pilates regularly and properly is invaluable in keeping these issues at bay. Helena's group classes are fun and friendly - she also does private lessons which are a great opportunity to work on specifics; between us we derived a short programme for me to do at home in between classes. I feel so much stronger and more flexible; the difference to a year ago is amazing.

I have been attending Helena's classes for over a year now and have seen huge improvements in my fitness, posture & well-being, I always walk home from her class with a spring in my step!
I also took part in her HIP Pilates class which I found challenging but really enjoyable. The classes inspired me to completely change my lifestyle & I've managed to lose over 2 stone and become much fitter.
I love how Helena challenges me to progress without being pushy, she always takes time to get around to each member of the class to ensure we are positioned correctly, which gives me the confidence to try it at home.
I can highly recommend Pilates with Helena, it's definitely a testament to her teaching that the whole class groans because it's the last session of the block!
