Stretch Pilates is an absolute life-saver - I would not, for anything, miss my two classes a week with Jade (now on line - they were in the gym). Jade moves from one movement to the next with consummate skill and continuous, graceful guidance so that one's body eases into greater flexibility without one being aware of the journey she is taking you - that is until it comes to an end and you realise you are standing straighter, have better balance, a stronger back or whatever it is she has been working on. Even when not in a 'live' class, her comments as you do the exercises makes you think she is watching you - she is so professional that she knows exactly where the weak points are likely to be. It is a class for every age - my daughter is 30, I am 69 and we both really benefit from it.

I started pilates with Nolan and Jade two years ago after having my second child. I wasn’t in great shape but the classes are structured in such a way that they start from where you are, and everyone is at different levels. I’ve found this class has given me confidence to take up other sports, and it also gives me a thorough weekly work out of all muscle groups and a great nights sleep. Nolan and jade are amazing instructors who make time during their classes to provide one to one instruction so you know your doing the movements properly to maximise their effectiveness. It’s a great weekly hours investment and excellent value.

Feel amazing after just two sessions..
Due to the nature of my work and having to use core muscle area's on a daily basis within my body, particularly in my back, I felt I needed some well earned relief from the discomfort I was experiencing. I asked help from 'Stretch Fit Yoga' using both instructors Jade and Nolan. They eased me into certain techniques/stretches in order to relieve/release the strain within key areas of my body.
After just one hour with Jade and an hour with Nolan, I was truly amazed at how affective Stretch Fit Yoga really is, to extreme that I laughed during the sessions, as I couldn't believe how great it made me feel :-)

Jade's Stretch Fit Pilates classes are an excellent way to tone the body and get back into shape. Her understanding of the human body and how it works is brilliant. The sessions are scientific with a human touch. I've learnt so much about the musculoskeletal make-up of the body from her. Don't be mistaken into thinking the classes are heavy going though, Jade injects a sense of humour and fun into each session which has everyone feeling at ease. Stretch Fit Pilates keep you fit whilst keeping you smiling!
UDATE - the Nolan Experience:
After taking many lessons with Jade I decided to take the plunge and have a sports massage therapy session with Nolan. For those of you reading this who don’t know, Jade and Nolan are the husband and wife team behind Stretch Fit Pilates and Fitness.
If you feel uncomfortable having your body minutely examined then I would recommend, if you can, overcoming that feeling because the benefits outweigh massively the fleeting feeling of discomfort being being examined. Nolan will assess you in a friendly, caring but clinical manner. Thankfully he has a brilliant sense of humour and coped with my rather chaotic mental gymnastics as I skipped back and forth through my history of incidents and accidents. He took a full history of me before then looking at my posture and getting me to stand and sense my own posture. This is quite interesting as I became aware of how my body was working (or not!). After he and I learnt about how I was, Nolan then set about getting me straightened out. This took time but in no way did Nolan rush things. Instead he set me on doing a series of movements so that my posture and body alignment could be fully tested and the path to realignment (if not enlightenment!) began. No fancy gadgets, no gimmicks. It’s simply through working with your body. Pushing yourself gently to your limits and then walking to sense the changes.
The fact that I’m writing this with my feet planted fully on the floor is incredible. From being very lopsided I became, through Nolan’s careful and patient training, straighter and more upright in a very short space of time. The fact that I have been able to get up and move without foot or leg pain is incredible! My unusually bony feet are slightly less bony now. I’ve got my exercises to do before I go back and have another session with him. In that short space of time he’s done more for me than several months of seeing a chiropractor or physiotherapist. If you’re in Nottinghamshire and you’ve tried other therapies and they’ve not worked, I strongly recommend that you try one session with Nolan. You might not be walking in the air but you will be walking tall, straight and properly on the earth.
I can’t recommend the combination of Jade and Nolan enough. Their company helps make people healthy again through their own bodies. Go on, give them a try, your body (and feet!) will thank you!

I met Nolan at a workshop and started attending his classes in Long Eaton and they have really developed both my mobility and strength. After having a one to one session with Nolan he looked at how my feet were working and where my centre of gravity was, after a few simple but very different exercises he was able to straighten me completely and get rid of an on-going back pain. It was completely different to anything I'd ever tried.

Nolan took over teaching the pilates classes I was attending in 2014 and that was the start of the improvement in my physical health. The classes were so different from others I had attended and I started to feel the benefits very quickly. No two classes are the same but they all have the same goal because there are lots of ways to achieve the results and what suits one person doesn't suit another, but there is an exercise out there which will suit you and Nolan and Jade know so many!
After six months I asked Jade to help me with my specific problems on a one to one basis. This benefitted me even more as my inherent problems were (and still are) complex.
Result: In my late 50's I felt I was going down hill and I wasn't sure how I was going to cope with later life. Now, in my early 60's I am active and looking forward to what the future will hold.
