I attended 4 week pregnancy yoga classes 3 times with Ijay and I would have happily continued if not the summer break! Ijay has a big, warm and welcoming heart and makes you feel very special and loved during this precious time. The experience I had during yoga classes made me go for a birth preparation session with Ijay. Although it is my second pregnancy, I have learnt so many new things about myslef, my mind and body, what to expect and how to cope during various stages of labour. Me and my partner truly valued the knowledge Ijay shared with us and we are confidently awaiting the arrival of our baby :) Thank you x

I have attended 3 sessions with Ijay and have signed up for another block of 4. Having tried several Yoga classes this was by far the most amazing. Ijay has a beautiful aura and an ability to make you feel instantly welcome and loved. She guides you through Yoga movements that can support and relax your body through its changes in pregnancy. During the difficult yet exciting time that is pregnancy, finding and being able to connect with someone like Ijay has been invaluable. She has shown me how to trust my body and have confidence in my ability to have the birth I want. I highly recommend these classes.

Joining the 4 week pregnancy yoga class with Ijay was the best decision I ever made. Her classes are amazing, incredibly relaxed but at the same time you work up a sweat. Ijay is very approachable and is a fantastic teacher. Her pregnancy classes were the perfect opportunity to unwind and alleviate any anxieties I had about pregnancy or the birth of my baby. I am hoping to book into another 4 week class soon.
Thank you

I attended the 4 week pregnancy yoga classes with Ijay and thought they were wonderful! They are in a cosy setting which gives a lovely atmosphere and as the class sizes are small you get to know everyone in the class. They covered everything I wanted including stretches, positions for labour, breathing and relaxation (the relaxation aspect is lovely and you leave feeling refreshed!). I've just signed up for another 4 weeks. Ideal for anyone in later stages of pregnancy!

At about 12 weeks into my pregnancy, I started looking for pregnancy exercise groups and settled on attending yoga classes at my yoga space with Ijay. What a fantastic decision! I really valued the time spent with other pregnant women, the time spent with my baby, and time spent focussing on my own well-being.
Ijay has gone to a lot of trouble to create the perfect space to practise in, she is providing all mats, comfy cushion and some lovely lavenda eye masks. The music she chooses for the classes is so beautiful.
When I first attended the classes I was experiencing lots of stress from work, I wanted to feel special but found it very difficult to connect with my baby and enjoy my pregnancy. I went through wonderful transformation thanks to yoga with Ijay. I was able to share my fears and feelings and get support. Through lovely yoga postures and stretches I begin to love my body and concentrate on listen to my body. I never felt so wonderful and very feminine.
Relaxation part of the classes made me feel so special and calm. Ijay is very caring and always makes sure you are comfortable and relaxed. She has got big round cushions, soft blankets & nice little bean bags. It felt like a lovely spa day or wonderful massage and I felt fully recharged no matter how tired I was at the beginning. She puts so much effort, love and passion in to her work. It’s beautiful and unique.
She also has a collection of books which she rent out and recommends. Sometimes she brings chocolate as well!

I attended Ijay's antenatal yoga classes before the arrival of my first baby. Ijay is a very caring person and great teacher. I would definitely recommend Ijay's classes to any pregnant woman who wants to connect with herself more, prepare for the birth and exchange thoughts on childbirth with other women in a similar situation. Thank you Ijay! :)

During my first pregnancy I was a bit anxious about the changes that my body went through and worried how my body would cope with the labour. Attending pregnancy yoga sessions with Ijay helped me overcome my fears. I learnt different breathing techniques and active labour positions that I used during the labour and stayed calm when I needed it most. Thanks to Ijay I approached the birth with confidence, in myself and my body. I knew I was prepared. I certainly recommend pregnancy yoga to all mums to be.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Ijay for my antenatal yoga sessions and empowering birth sessions with husband. We were both a little apprehensive before we attended - but we needn’t have been. Ijay made us feel completely at ease and the session was completely moulded around what are our needs were. The session was relaxed, open and uplifting and we both left feeling a lot calmer and even excited about putting all of Ijay’s words of advice into practice. I cant thank you enough. I only wish we had had time to do more sessions! Selina

Yoga with Ijay was definitely one of the best things that happened to me while I was pregnant! I loved that the classes were a safe space to relax and exercise my pregnant body as well as to share with other expectant women. It opened my mind to perceive birth as a spiritual experience as opposed to merely a clinical one, and helped me tap into my deepest feelings and fears surrounding the issue of giving birth. I was surprised again and again by the amount of thought, love and caring that Ijay put into each and every class. In the end I also decided I wanted her to be there during my labour and the birth of my baby, so she was also my doula and I am forever grateful to her for all the support. I could go on forever, but the thing is, you've just got to meet her! :)

Ijay is amazing. I fully recommend her prenatal yoga classes. She wonderfully combines relaxation with good sense of humour. The group was small therefore she provided lots of attention to all pregnant mamas and we could all connect and get to know one another a bit more. No judgement, genuine support and generosity. I am coming back for more and also I am looking forward to explore other forms of support Ijay offers.

Ijay's yoga was a staple part of both of my pregnancies. I had incredible experiences both times and I honestly don't think I would have had such positive labours had it not been for my time with her. Her approach is all encompassing. From your mental state through to how to approach pregnancy and labour physically, she cares about it all. She is one of the least judgmental people I know and makes each and every woman feel special, beautiful and capable no matter what her choices are for birth. I personally felt safest at home and so chose to opt for a home birth. I would describe my first birth as ecstatic, even orgasmic and the second was an incredible, completely natural water birth. There are many lessons from our classes that have reached far beyond my pregnancies and into life beyond. For all of it I am eternally grateful and I would urge any pregnant woman to go along and experience it for yourself... words can't really do it justice.

I decided to take some antenatal yoga classes as am expecting my first baby and wanted to prepare for the birth by improving my confidence in my body's ability, learning some positions that might be useful, and also the all important relaxation and breathing techniques that I'll need! My doula recommended IJay and so I took a couple of one to one classes with her and then did the 4 week course as well. Incredibly good value and IJay is amazing - I felt so relaxed as soon as I met her and not at all self conscious about moving my cumbersome and not very flexible body around in front of her! She is the warmest, friendliest person and puts you at ease straight away. The classes are probably about 2/3 movement and 1/3 relaxation (when IJay will build you a nest out of cushions and talk you through some breathing and relaxation techniques - it is soooooo blissful!). I now feel so much stronger physically and mentally and might even fit in another 4 week course before the big day. Cannot recommend enough!

I have been attending these classes for almost 3 months because I friend of mine recommended them and it is the best thing I could have done. They are great for your mind and body and right after your first class you can start seeing the effects.
They give you confidence, strength, security and relaxation. It is nice to have a place where you can go every week and makes you feel this way.
