I attended pregnancy yoga with Mala and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I looked forward to the yoga session every week and felt so well rested after each session - it also improved my sleeping. Mala is an incredible yoga teacher and she really addresses each person's needs. During her classes I enjoyed bonding with my baby through tummy massage and positive affirmation and visualization. This was my favourite part of every class. I really believe the classes nurtured an even stronger bond between my baby and I. Would recommend Mala's classes to everyone. She is such a warm hearted, caring and knowledgeable teacher. Thank you Mala, I am eternally grateful x

When I started yoga in the start of 2022, I was not in the greatest place mentally. Now, I’m started to notice the difference and feel very clear and focused as time goes by. I am now doing 2 classes a week with Dr Mala. The classes are amazing! Dr Mala is very lovely, warm and creates an amazing atmosphere in class. The stretches are very effective and I have seen physical results as well as mental. I am now practicing yoga at home as well and have got my parents onto it. Dr Mala is a true yogini and a lovely calm caring person. The atmosphere she creates in her yoga sessions is warm and inviting. My husband and I took a birthing workshop with Dr Mala in February 2022. Dr Mala is so kind and helped us to prepare for the birth of our first baby. My husband especially appreciated the information about the process & stages of labour and also to learn the different positions and massage techniques he could support me. For me, as a first time mum, the workshop helped me especially to get rid of the fear from giving birth and get myself into a calm and empowering mindset. The various positions and positive affirmations Dr Mala shared with us during the workshop got me through my labour and I can honestly say that I actively used the knowledge from the workshop to deliver our baby in peaceful and calm way. I have been attending Mala's calm, warm and welcoming prenatal yoga classes for the last month (25 - 29 weeks so far) and I am enjoying it very much. I started as a total beginner and honestly a bit of a yoga skeptic, but I was willing to give it a go after a recommendation from a friend to try and ease my anxiety about giving birth. The classes are small and intimate in Dr Mala's immaculate flat and I consider myself converted! With Dr Mala's instruction and positive energy, I am in a calmer headspace for birth but more importantly I can picture my baby like never before; I feel love for the little person who will soon walk the earth and no longer view pregnancy as just discomfort and elbows and knees that jab at me!! It has been a wonderful experience so far and I highly recommend giving it a go with Mala if you aim to connect with your baby and enjoy time and space for yourself to focus on your body and breathing before the big event! They are relaxing classes, covering everything from connecting with your baby, stretching, preparing the body and mind for baby's arrival, to mediation and breathing techniques. Dr Mala's prenatal yoga classes are not only a fantastic way to relax, they are tailored and perfect for pregnant women who want to be prepared mentally and physically for their baby's arrival. I practiced pregnancy yoga with Dr mala whilst pregnant with my first child. I gained control over my mind feelings and body feeling empowered and calm as I left each session.
Dr Malas yoga last session with myself I also believed induced my labour - I attended her class at 8pm on a Monday night and my contractions started at 10pm that evening. I believe the positions and movement contributed to the start of my labour and the calm and empowered feelings about birth Dr Mala shared with me that evening contributed to a great birthing experience.
I cannot thank Dr Mala enough I will be back practicing normal yoga with her soon.

Mala has been a true inspiration for me. She teaches with complete authenticity and passion, using the ancient tools of India to improve our health and wellbeing. I moved out from Watford and I am still looking for suitable yoga classes for me. Must say yogini Mala did set the bar very high. I gave a go with lady in local gym (went six times) but it was more like stretching and was not even close to level of Mala’s classes.

This is my first pregnancy - I started doing the pre-natal yoga classes with Mala a few months ago. Due to the virus outbreak and self-isolation, I'm now doing the online classes with Mala.
I have found them to be very helpful with regards to breathing exercises and also bringing a sense of zen and peace through this ever changing transition.

Lately, I developed intense sciatica pain and her careful, cosidered and compassionate approach and guidance has really helped me. Dr Mala's Yoga and Mediation Retreat 2019 was a wonderful experience, especially for me being quite new to yoga, and exceeded all my expectations. It was inclusive of age and diversity with 'lovely beings' of all ages and from all walks of life, enjoying the peace and tranquility of Gaunt house.
The well-being I achieved from and yoga , mediation and other stress releasing activities, continue to increase after leaving the retreat. I can’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed as during – and after – Mala’s retreat. The stresses of the working week seemed to disappear as we drove through the gates to Gaunts House, a period mansion surrounded by green space. Over the course of the weekend, we practised breathing techniques, asanas, participated in Kirtan chants, watched Indian classical dancing, explored the beautiful grounds and ate delicious, nutritious vegetarian food, much of which was grown in the gardens. I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of people to share the experience with – roll on the next one!
